This is just the right box if your receiver has only one optical input, but you have more than one optical device. Very easy to setup and use. The indicator light is a great feature.Quality product and highly recommend 👌

Bought this a few years ago, and it's been working perfectly since then. It's been really simple to use, and the metal case makes it seem like it should last. Syncs up with my universal remote, and has a button on the front to control it in case I don't feel like fiddling with that.

I ordered the eSynic Digital Optical Audio Switchers 3 In1 and shipment was fast. Plugged it in and hooked up two optical sources and output via optical to a speaker set with a subwoofer. It all works straight out of the box, and the sound quality is fantastic! The case is aluminum and of great quality. Not bulky either. As a bonus, an optical cable is included! I recommend this if you need to easily switch between optical sources without the need to unplug cables and cause long-term wear and tear on your equipment and cables.

Beware Australian buyers, or non U.S. buyers. This device comes with the U.S. power plug, as in the picture. I thought since I ordered it to ship to Australia, they would ship it with an Australian plug. Not the case. Didn't matter since my power board can accept universal plug types. The switcher worked fine. I only use 2 inputs. The sound is fine. Happy with its performance.

Very good build quality. Sturdy. Does exactly what is supposed to do. Does not take up space. Remote is a great additional feature. I have my T.V. (via optical cable) hooked up to it, my computer (via optical cable) hooked up to it, and one optical cable hooked up to my amplifier. I easily switch from one source to another with this great device, effortlessly. Even easier with the remote. A breeze to connect everything. I also appreciate that it came with an optical cable included. All under $30.00 Canadian currency. I definitely recommend this device.

Feel free to pick this handy little device up, if you are wanting to attach multiple media devices to you surround sound, especially if you know you can use the Toslink/Digital-Fiber Optical cable to do so.This is essentially a fiber hub, which you plug 3 media devices into it (3 INs), & one out port (1 OUT) to your Monitor/Surround sound system.I have my PS4, ROKU, & DVD devices plugged into this ESYNIC. The single out port goes to my monitor/CD burner, which pumps out to my speakers.Because of this, I am able to remove the single Toslink/Digital Optical connection from my TV, since I wanted a 100% Digital connection to my sound system, from my above mentioned devices, instead of all of them going thru my TV, then out to my system (audio wise). This has made my TV more like a PC/Laptop monitor (no sound), essentially. So now I enjoy very high quality sound when playing my PS4, watching movies/TV from my DVD player & ROKU, all from the touch my little ESYNIC remote control, that lets me switch between these 3 devices, from the comfort of my couch.VERY nice product, made very well, & a GREAT, inexpensive way to add multiple devices to your sound system using ALL digital connections.Very pleased with this product...

Shipping, packaging and installation were great. I will need to get some velcro to keep it from tilting up. The box is small, light, and durable, but the cable weight in the back makes the front tilt up a bit. No big deal, easy fix. I have IR LED Lights run in my computer, which this sets on top of. They must be on the same frequency or something, because whenever I press 1, it dims the lights. Press 2, it changes to purple. Press three, and it changes to yellow. Not a big deal, but it can be annoying. Overall 4/5

Pretty simple and straight forward device!Though being a "cheap" device, it delivers what it's made for.The build is though since it's aluminium. The remote (IR sensor) is a great addition to this device. I wouldn't have settled for a non-IR device. I don't use the provided remote ANYMORE since it's been paired on my universal remote.I don't use a state of the art system so I can't really give my opinion on the sound quality but I don't have any problems with the sound. My sound is way better than it was since I was coming from 5.1 to analog RCA (L+R) cables and that the bass frequencies were making my small satellites rumble and make weird noises. What I can tell is that the signal is properly forwarded to the proper channels and it sound really good in the end.The overall quality is great but not perfect. When a TOSLINK cable is plugged into the unit, it's hard to remove them (I was literally scared to break the optical port when trying to unplug one of my cable). I tried with the 3 cables I have (different brands for each) and they all did the same thing. I managed to remove the cables without damaging the port but it was kinda scary.Last but not least, the IR sensor is misaligned with the hole in the housing but this does NOT interfere with its function. I tested all the angles with the IR remote and I had no problem whatsoever to switch the input ports and to power off the unit.I recommend this unit to anyone who has only 1 input optical port on their system and want to use several optical devices (PS3, PS4 and TV in my case) with their sound system. In my case, I tried sending all my devices in HDMI to my TV and let the manage the audio signal, but it created audio lag (out of sync with video, which was truly annoying). Now, with this device, there is no audio lag at all, everything is right on cue.Modern TVs with better processors won't have this problem but this simple device let me use digital audio with all of my devices!

If you need to consolidate 3-Optical-IN to 1-Optical Out - This works Great!!My older Receiver only has two Optical Inputs, but I have 4 optical cables I needed to connect, so found myself plugging and unplugging at the back of the receiver each time i needed to use a different input, just a pain!!Bought two other Digital Optical Switches, both failed badly, and was getting a bit discouraged, but figured I would keep trying until I found one that worked. The ESYNIC 3 Port Toslink connected up quickly, and on the first try - Boom... worked flawlessly!! Was so happy to find one that finally did exactly what it says it does.Comes with everything you need, an Optical Cable to use as the connection between the switch and receiver, a remote that works perfectly to be able to switch without getting up to push a button on the 'switch unit'. The remote is an IR, so needs to be "in line of sight" but considering how small the unit is, its not an issue, even has an On / Off button on the remote. (some of the others you have to turn off by either unplugging the switch or a on/off switch on the actual unit, so once this one is installed, all can be done from the comfort of the couch.I had read through tons of reviews trying to find someone who was having the same issue (and need) as me, to help make it easier to find a unit to do exactly what I needed it to do, so hopefully this review will help those that need exactly the same thing!!My only thought is, I don't know why i waited so long!!, For the $20 bucks, its a Bargain!!
