The opal was not special. It was no bigger than the ones I buy in the “opal lots”. I was surprised. I paid the same price for one, that I paid for 6 from another seller.

For the price and the fact that it was sent half way around the world I can't complain too much. It is a large rough cut specimen that has some fire to it, but it nearly clear white and not black and fiery like the sample photo. So I have to knock a star off for that but for the value for under $10 is definitely there. Also the shipping took 2 weeks instead of the estimated 4 weeks, which was a plus.
