I’ve been using the RoboVac (x8 Pro) for nearly a year before writing this review. Let me start by saying, the vacuuming power and mapping are excellent. It has strong suction and moves around objects without causing any damage or knocking things over. The mopping feature is also convenient for regular maintenance cleaning. It uses a small pad that gently rubs against the floor as the robot slowly releases water.However, I’ve encountered a few issues with the vacuum.1. The self-cleaning roller brush is a major problem. It doesn’t effectively remove pet hair from the brush, and it ends up throwing dirt everywhere when it tries to clean itself. As a result, the floor around the dock is always covered in dirt.2. The vacuum frequently gets stuck or “trapped” in unusual places. Some days, these spots aren’t an issue, but on other days, it gets stuck even when there’s nothing around it or in the roller brush. This is quite frustrating.3. (Not as significant) While the mopping feature is useful, I don’t use it often because I have to remember to attach and detach the mop. You can set “no-mop zones,” so when the mop is attached, it won’t go into those areas. It will only mop the surfaces you’ve designated for mopping. The downside is that the battery dies. So, if you have carpeted rooms and want to fully mop and vacuum the floors, you have to do one of them first (either vacuum or mop), recharge the battery (which takes a while), attach or detach the mop, and then run it again. It’s a lengthy process that would be much faster if you did it yourself. .

This purchase was to replace another model I had for 10 yrs and no longer made. So far extremely satisfied with the Eufy unit.

First off I would like to note that this is my first robovac, And I recently moved into a two-bedroom apartment that's approximately 1,000 ft², I have plenty of space, no carpeting.At the time this was 55% off I bought the version without the SES base station, paid about $260 for it,When you first unbox it I recommend charging it to full which you take probably about 5 hours. Mine arrived at 20% battery, when I first turned it on the setup was very easy using the app, I then began the mapping sequence which took less than 30 minutes. And then I created each room individually and set up each room's needs. press the auto button and it started up. It takes about 55 minutes to clean the entire apartment. It's not that noisy, but it sure does suck up a lot of hair, I have one cat, after the cleaning was done it was still at 40% battery, they boast of 160 + minutes but I don't think you will actually get that, The second time I used it I also used the mopping function, Don't expect miracles with this it does a great job but you would still need to do a deep clean yourself every once in a while, this little robovac has no problem navigating autonomously and on a schedule. While you're sleeping, I currently have it set up on a schedule to automatically run Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. I did my research before buying this and I have no regrets.The replacement parts are pretty affordable, and even tracks how many hours each part has left,In the future I would definitely buy from this brand again.

This is one of the best ones I have bought! I had the earlier version of eufy and that was amazing and this one surpasses all my expectation. Best product ever. It came in good packing also and in good condition.

I sent him to bravely face various disgusting messes behind couches, under beds, etc. He never complains. Glad it has the mop feature. It’s great for picking up the fine dust that adheres to hardwood floors.

One regret - I should have bought the one with a dumping station. Keeps floors free of pet hair, dirt and dust. Powerful little unit.

This is a robot that tries to do everything, but ultimately does nothing. First, I love Eufy robots. We have an old Eufy robot that is unstoppable, and we have an original model X8 that was running strong until it ran into a battery problem. We've also owned several Roombas. However, if you're considering this robot, stop and go onto your second choice.THE BAD:- The main reason I purchased this robot was because it said it could clean its own brush. It can't. The picture I have here is after about four days of use. Now, the robot will do its self-cleaning cycle during and after it vacuums. It just doesn't do anything. Before I decided it just wasn't going to work out, I had it run manually three times in a row. It did nothing.- As a robot that's trying to do everything, a lot of its space is taken up by the water take, which means it has an extremely small dustbin. So if you have a large area, or you're not using the self-emptying station, this robot isn't going to be able to pick up enough.The GOOD:- It has great suction power!IN SUMMARY:If you're debating between the X8 and the X8 Pro, go with the X8. If you want this because it'll clean its own roller, which would be the greatest feature ever, you're not going to get it. It just doesn't work. So it's time to keep looking, because there's a better robot out there for you, and you just have to find it.
