At least mine didn’t. Don’t waste your money. After struggling with it for a day I asked for a recommendation from reception at my hotel. They gave me a SIM card. It had phone and text not just data. It was for the UK and Canada only. Insert card, takes you to a site where you activate and choose account. Cheaper, better, more quickly.

It worked well the first week in France. It didn't work after driving to Italy. I contacted support who promptly sent me a couple possible fixes. Got it working again with the help of a more tech-savvy friend. It didn't' last long. I was on my own for the last two weeks of my four-month trip. Tech support was good with follow ups but I couldn't be bothered with the frustration. I just used the wifi where I was staying and in shopping centres etc. The last week I spent in Germany - it was dead. Ditto transiting through France again on my way home. Disappointing.

I bought this "data only" SIM card for my Western Europe 2 weeks trips last month in October.Instruction inside the SIM card is simple and clear. Please ensure to activate "cellular data roaming". This is the only change I made on my Iphone setting.I activated this card during my transit in London. It took 4 hours to activate. Once I arrived in Rome, it took another 3 hours to work. I did restart the phone. After this, they work fine when we did tour by bus to Rome, Venice, Austria, Germany, Netherland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Florence.I will definitely buy this card again on my next Europe trip. However I would screenshot all important information that I need on my phone before I leave considering long hours of activation and not all area has wifi.

it worked for about 2-3 days when I was in budapest, but stopped working once I switched to another country (amsterdam, netherlands). by the time I got back to budapest a week later, it still didn't work. I definitely did not use up 10GB of data in 2 days so I know that that's not the reason why it doesn't work.

Installed this SIM card while in transit in Frankfurt airport and it did not work. Decided not to worry about it until we arrived at our destination Italy. Worked when I turned on the phone in Venice. Important to remember to activate “cellular data roaming” as many people turn that off before departing North America to avoid outrageous roaming fees.Excellent signal strength. Stronger signal than my spouse’s Canadian SIM. Excellent for using GoogleMaps to negotiate the streets of Venice, Florence and Positano. Also worked great on our drive to a tiny village winery in Volpaia, Tuscany. Highly recommended.

Trip was in July 2023. I have an international phone I use with the sole purpose of being a WiFi hotspot for my regular, US network phone. Chip was in a Samsung Galaxy A50.Note: Chips are good for one year from date on the package. My chip had about 8 months of shelf life remaining when I got it. Not a concern for me, but don't buy one 11 months out from a trip. Wait until you are at 6 or fewer months from your trip. Also, the chip is good for 30 days once connected to a network. Do not connect until you are overseas and ready to use*.I bought this. I put the chip into my international phone on a layover in Zurich on my way to Italy. Phone started up and connected. What more could I ask for? Worked perfectly. I turned on mobile hotspot and used my regular phone for two weeks in Italy, and again on my return layover in Zurich.I was overseas for some training. I connected my laptop on a few days, and some other people with no cell service in the classroom also connected and got work done via web based programs (virtual desktops and 365 products).I would definitely buy again. Highly reliable. Worked without any issues.*I took screen shots of the troubleshooting tips from the website before I left on my trip, but I never needed them. Again, everything worked perfectly.

Good choice for DATA ONLY (no voice/SMS) in most of Europe (including UK); bit of a hassle if you need it in France, but it still works. Did not allow for hotspot useage (i.e., sharing your phone with other phones as a wi-fi source).No action required prior to arrival in Europe. Landed in Ireland and inserted it into my phone; service came up quickly. Also worked in the UK (specifically, England). Worked in Germany without issue. Speeds were sufficient (as advertised).My only complaint involves transitioning in-and-out of France. You must change the APN (network access) for your phone upon arrival in France (and remove those changes upon departure...it is a manual process; it will not occur automatically). The included instructions that this is necessary specifically for France are very prominent...but the instructions are outdated. I struggled with it for some time until I was able to get to Wi-Fi and Google the instructions for France. The instructions have changed for the manual configuration. Once I knew that, it was easy and the network came right up. My included instructions (from a May, 2023 purchase used in June, 2023) stated to use "dataroam" and "internet" in the Network and APN fields, respectively. The actual requirement is to use "internet" in both fields.So, aside from use in France, I recommend this SIM. If you are only using it in France, perhaps it's worth the one-time setup hassle. If you are transitioning in-and-out of France (and especially if you are remaining along the border area) I'd find a different option.Also, if you need a voice/SMS or hotspot capable SIM then I'd find a different one.But it's nice to have something that is immediately available upon landing (even if it's just data).

This sim card Save us a lot of time and its work as described. Just pop in and take mostly about 5 mins max and got the best signal. I got mostly 5G everywhere I went using unlocked samsung S23 ultra .. We went to Frankfurt, works but low signal. London works really well. Paris works well. Just need to adjusted the code on the setting followed the manual. Madrid and Barcelona works well. Overall it is a great sim card and cheap. 10 gbs is all we needed for 2 weeks travel. So easy the average person can do it. Just don't overtaking the hard way. Be smart or work hard to be smart.

I purchased two: one for my and my wife's phones for a recent trip (both iPhones).Install was simple, and it was up and running right away after installing it in Lisbon upon landing. It also worked decent in Barcelona and Toulon. Although never very speedy (usually 3G max) it was consistent in those cities. When we got to Italy, mine never connected, my wife's did, but, barely enough to even load google maps. Oddly enough, her's auto-connected to a different network than mine, even though they are the same card. When I opted for the network she was using in my phones settings, I got a brief connection, then not much after.As we worked out web back through France, Spain and Portugal from Italy it worked in a so-so fashion.Don't expect any high speeds, do expect outages. Have a backup plan if your are going to rely on it for train/bus scheduled or taxi/uber apps.

Followed instructions, installed card in Android phone upon landing in Copenhagen. Good thing we had more than 1 phone, as couldn't get it to function on 1st phone (LG G7 ThinQ). Showed signal but connection wouldn't work. Got frustrated after checking all settings, so tried on other phone Samsung Galaxy A71, and worked immediately on that one.Used the Samsung phone with this data card as hotspot for 3 other phones and this worked excellent. Used in 5 countries overall. Sometimes connection would drop although signal still showed strong. Turning airplane mode on & off usually resolved this quickly.For 2 weeks in Europe, also hotspotting 3 other phones but avoiding video streaming & large downloads, we used 6 GB. Was excellent to keep everyone connected, use maps, look up sights to see, restaurants, read news, social media, etc.Overall very pleased with this cost effective option. Just need to have backup plan in case phone doesn't cooperate (i.e. have a 2nd phone available, if possible).
