I have a 2003 2500 5.9l. My truck was riding rough and transmission was shifting hard. Replaced shocks, rear u joints and had rear drive shaft balance. Still did not completely cure the problem. My brother recommended replacing front drive shaft. I ordered this and once I got back from mechanic it was like driving a new truck.
