We have bought these at the different levels every year for the past 5 years. My kid gets straight As. I think these help him not forget stuff during the summer.

This is a wonderful workbook. I feel that when you have the sections by week and the are actually broken down by day, learners can stay organized and motivated. Great book!

About this for my autistic daughter who has trouble with regular workbooks. She loved this book and finished it within just a few weeks. Will definitely be buying more.

These are great summer books! We have used them the last two summers with the kids. We homeschool them so this just helps keep them in routine and keep their skills sharpened for the coming school year.

Good workbook. These are always great to help teach your kids at home. I typically use them to help catch my son up.

If you're looking for something to prepare your kid for 8th grade, this is DEFINITELY not the best option. It is extremely short and the activities in it are 5th grade math; maybe even less. It asks you about "Memorable moments this week" and about PERIMETER and ADDITION/SUBTRACTION. The hardest math question I found was about finding out what is 4 with an exponent of 2 equal to.I don't know what your kid is learning but this is not what we are!The geography for the most part is OK. If your kid knows what country is where I guess they wouldn't need the geography part either.

Love this work book. It's set up by week/day so your child doesn't feel overwhelmed!! 2 pages a day takes my daughter about 15/20 minutes!! Perfect for keeping your brain active during summer break!
