I needed a small electric tiller. I have only owned corded electric lawn and garden tools since 1970. This tiller has lots of power and works faster than the gas Merry Tiller I used in the 1980's. I have a small garden. This went through 8 inched of hard clay quickly. After 20 minutes, the gearbox was warm.I purchased "like new" from Amazon. Tiller looked new with the exception of a bend in the tiller body and a dent in the handle. 3 of the 4 handle screws and nuts were missing. I used my own screws and nylock nuts. All is well. I sent in a request for replacement screws. Tiller could have been packed better.I am happy.

What a wonderful garden tool. It goes deep and it can turn hard ground into powder after a few passes.Like all front tiners this one can gallop away from me however it is light enough that an eighty year old man can bring it back. I love it.

Tiller looks good and works well however the blades are not stainless steel as advertised. SK5 is in fact carbon steel not stainless steel. Stainless steel has to contain 11% chromium to be call stainless and corrosion resistant and SK5 only has 0.3% and will rust if not properly maintained. I contacted the company and they insist SK5 is " high quality stainless steel " even though you can stick a magnet to it. I really don't care to be lied to.
