Great sleeping cot. Sturdy and quick to set up. I even take it to work to get a nice quick cat nap in on lunch break

It's very strong and well made. The design is clever and you can use the levers/supports to tension it. It actually fits in the container it came with, which is rare with camping items. We tested it on a friend on a recent camping trip and he had no complaints about comfort. It may be too small for really tall people. It's good for tent campers on lumpy ground.

Bought these for a scout camp, worked well, quite comfortable and easy to set up. They are a little heavy so I wouldn't want to take them backpacking.Seems solid so far.

I just opened this as I prep for this weekend camping. The elastic cording is not attached on one of the cot poles. It is impossible to string it through. Unfortunately, I waited too long to open it so cannot return it.

All I’ve done is set it up once at home to make sure it works and it does. All its parts and one page of adequate instructions were all there in a good sized carry bag with handles. However, it stupidly was packed into two boxes - super wasteful, but a reminder that I have to think twice or thrice before ordering something from Amazon. It was packed in its original - and very adequate for shipping - box and then Amazon put it - without any packing materials - into a bigger box!?!! Huh? The minimal instructions were okay for me because the cot’s setup was simple and kind of intuitive if you have any experience setting up camping equipment. (I do.) Great design and I’ll probably get a good night’s sleep on it. I think it could be a bit less taut, but that’s just me. The setup was simple, but not easy. Let’s just say I got my strength training in for the day. If you expect your under-15 year old kids to set it up, you may be disappointed. Or, if your spouse is always asking you to get the top off of jars, they may have a problem setting up this cot. It requires a lot of grip strength! But, unlike a lot of my other camping equipment (expensive stuff from REI) after disassembling it fit easily back into its bag. We’ll see if it makes it through my 2-week camping trip. If not, I’ll be back to edit my review. So far, so good.

Work great. Comfy and easy to assemble. A little heavy, can only use them for winter camping when we pull in sleds. Wouldn’t take them portaging or backpacking.

Only used them for one trip so far, but they were easy to set up/take down, and even though it was raining most of the time we stayed dry thanks to the elevation. It was also nice to have space underneath to slide things out of the way so we weren't tripping over them. They were a little stiff, but comfortable enough. Here's hoping they last for the years to come.👍

Heavy duty means heavy. This unit is reasonably rugged for its light weight. Probably not light enough for back packing but then i am long past the age where back packing is an item. while simple, it was the video that convinced me i could manage the "some assembly required". indeed, once knowing what's required i had no complaint putting it together for use. and i don't anticipate there will be problems taking it down either. rated at 250lb supporting weight gave me pause, because that is nearly where i am at these days but it proved quite sturdy for my bulk. no rips, tears or catastrophic collapse. my use is just in the back yard so that meets the requirement for level ground, it would also work indoors. not recommended for rugged terrain.

Assembly of this cot was tricky on my own. The straight side bars fit tight, but I found that using a large spoon (using it almost like a shoe horn) I was able to slip the bars in. The legs were easy enough to add.I drive a Ford Flex and with all the seats down I was able to slide this right in the back of my car. I stacked on a couple cot mattresses and a twin sheet held them on just fine. I liked that it was up off the car floor, but not too high. I was able to slide a couple of boxes under the cot for storage. Worked great. When camping I lifted the whole cot out and napped under the trees- it was so comfy! I recommend it!Side note- because of the set up I left the two side rods in the cot and just pop of the legs. This allows me the ability to roll up the length of the cod and travel or store it without it being fully set up, but in don’t have to manhandle the bars as often 🤣

I was looking for a low profile cot to use for camping. Wanted a low profile cot so I could use it in my smaller 2 person tent and be able to sit on it and still have good headroom. This cot is perfect for car and motorcycle campers. In my opinion it is a bit too bulky and too heavy for backpacking. My measurements of the cot once together is 77" long and 26" wide and 7.5" tall. Packed in it's carry bag is 27" long and 10"wide. This thing is very sturdy. All the legs and 2 side poles are made of steel, hence the weight. The fabric is good quality and all the stitching was perfect. It is comfortable on it's own to use with a sleeping bag but I also use a 2" thick sleeping pad on mine as well. The cot is very stable as well. I can lay on it and roll over side to side and it does not tip or become unstable in any way; however when you sit down on it you need to sit in the middle and stay off either end. If you're a car or motorcycle camper looking for a cot at a reasonable price, this cot should be at the top of your list.

I'm going camping in near freezing temps soon and need a cot. After much research, I figured this would be a good buy.I just set up the cot today and it was much easier than what many reviews said. First setup took about 5 minutes and about 1.5 minutes to take down. I'd say the setup time could be cut in half after practice and the take down time could decrease as well. However I did struggle with putting things in the bag and getting it to zip.It was comfortable to lie on and take a nap... I don't have an idea of how it'll be after sleeping on it for two nights. It's a nice distance off the ground, so I'm hoping I'll stay nice and warm with my sleeping gear on it.This cot was very comfy! It fit me and my med/large sized dog comfortably. I had a 1 inch thick mat and my sleeping bag and it felt so similarly to sleeping on my bed at home. Though it is pretty big in my 2 person backpacking tent.Setup/take down:PROS:-Straightforward-Easy (subjective)-Few PartsCONS:-Need to put weight on the cross bars to close-End is sewn, the opening for the bars are on the side (a little frustrating)-long (for me, I'm 5'2)Sleepability:PROS:-comfotable-wide-decently cushyCONS:-A bit too long to fit easily in my tent-A little slippery with my mat
