A nice sturdy pole, but it was short for the flag I bought. Only one clip at the top to hold the flag so I had to use a wire to clip the bottom half of the flag on to the pole

I liked a lot of the features of this pole. First let me remind you that this pole if for flags with a sleeve in them that the flag slides on to, and not a double gromet flag that attaches at the top and bottom. This pole has a plastic sleeve and a brass attaching /closing hook, so unlike others, with steel or plated hooks it should not rust and stain your flag. Next. The plastic sleeve keeps the flag from wrapping up on the pole like many other poles have a tendency to do. The wooden pole has a nice finish to it and so far, it has been through snow, high wind and heavy rain with no discernable deuteriation. The only thing I didn't like is the diameter of the pole, as it is smaller than the average pole for a flag of this size. I had to shim the mount to get the thumbscrew to tighten up on the pole, not a big problem to do. It now fits and sits firmly.

End was knarled up. It has a dinky ring that holds a plastic sleeve over the wood I guess that's to make the flag move without restriction. It's not what I really wanted. Not near as nice as what I bought on 2001! That flag pole held up nice!

I love this wooden pole and was replacing it as my "old" pole was needing to be replaced. It is easy to hang flags from as the flags attach easily. I was happy to find one just like my old one. A good find.

I purchased two flag poles recently. This is one of them. It is made from a single piece of wood with a special plastic piping sleeve which is said to be anti-wrapping. The anti-wrapping feature seems to work very well as the flag on this pole has never wrapped around the pole. The flag on the other pole has wrapped around the pole several times but has unwrapped itself all but one time. I hang both flag poles on opposite sides of the same tree with the mounts about 10 feet above ground level and the poles installed at the 45 degree angle pointing upwards not horizontally. I think the anti-wrap feature is very good and preferable; however, the extra cost is quite high. I managed to buy the second pole on sale and saved a lot of money doing so. That second pole is a two-part pole with a central metal fastener.

Solide Fahnenstange, wie auf dem Bild beschrieben. Leider sind oben unter dem Knauf komische kleine Löcher. Da meine Zeitplanung keinen Rückversand zuließ, habe ich das in Kauf genommen.

Diese Fahnenstange sieht einfach nur genial aus, der geringe Preis macht sich nicht in der Qualität bemerkbar. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter kein Problem

Stabile Fahnenstange, leider im Umfang doch sehr groß, so dass man die üblichen Löcher an den Fahnen nicht nutzen kann. Hab die Fahnen kurzerhand umgenäht, damit geht's.

8 year Update (summer of 2022). Still 5 stars and still recommend this product after owning this for 8 years. We finally replaced this wooden flag pole after 8 years of being outside. It was showing it age (cracks, fade, and mold). Not bad for an item that is outdoor 24/7. I am sure this will last longer if you stained or sealed it every year. We didn't.BLUF:1) See pictures. Click "View All" to see the pictures.2) High Quality.3) Last over 2yrs in the outdoor during wind, rain, snow, heat, etc.4) If you are looking for an outdoor adjustable flag holder/mounting bracket then I recommend the HWWHITEADJ . Amazon has it for under $20. It is a little expensive but definitely worth it because the holder is heavy duty/high quality.I am an OEF and OIF veteran but never flew the American flag unless it was during 4th of July. The main reason is because we live in a very windy part of Oklahoma. It is so windy that the local power company installed windmills on all the hills near our development. So with that my biggest concern was finding the right flag pole that will survive in our "harsh" conditions.One day my wife bought me this flag pole and told me that she think it is a good idea if we fly our American flag 24/7 to display our pride and patriotism (we are both naturalized citizens). I mounted the flag pole into our metal pole bracket and didn't think it would last because of the windy condition here.Surprisingly, after 2yrs of 24hrs/7days a week usage the flag pole have held up very well. The pole is not warp or show any cracks.In summary, if you want a high quality product that will last in the outdoors and under harsh weather conditions (heat, wind, etc) then look no further. You need to buy this product.The features I like about this product:1) Real Wood2) Looks pretty especially with the capSome Application Tips:1) The wood pole might be a little smaller (in diameter) when fitting into your bracket. If this is the case then just wrapped the pole in a few layers of tape (masking, duct, electrical, etc) and this will give you enough tension to snuggly fit the pole inside any bracket.I hope you find this review helpful.
