I'm a music lover and audiophile and use to monitor potential voltage dips, critical during summer. Very helpful. I have one in my listening room in a non-audio circuit and can monitor voltage at a glance from my listening chair.Now, if it also filtered out the grunge and RF...lol.

We were having an issue with random transient power fluctuations and I needed to be able to quickly and at-a-glance, see what the current voltage output was from specific sockets.This little device was the perfect solution. It is accurate, inexpensive, and easy to read.I've bought a few and they've never failed me.Even though the problem is resolved, it's now a standard component of any equipment setup I have.I highly recommend this device.

I checked the accuracy with a digital multi-meter and there was only about a half volt difference between the two. I live in an older building and it's interesting to see how the voltage varies when I'm using different appliances and also how the voltage drops during the summer due to electricity demand in the area.

This meter is accurate and measures the same voltage as my DMM. One other thing that we discovered was a plus is that it doubles as a night light. The blur back lighting is very nice and not only makes reading the display easy but also give the room a night light level of lighting. Very happy with this purchase. We have had brown outs in past years and now at a glance we can confirm what is happening with our line voltage.

Used this volt meter to track the AC voltage output of an antique Variac autotransformer. It tracks OK above 50 VAC. Between 30-50 VAC the reading becomes innacurrate. Below 30 vac the unit shuts off.It's as easy to use as plugging it in. There are no controls whatsoever.
