Installed this on my kids Gokart using a street glow 2-1/16 gauge pod. Works fine. Was easy to adjust the ratio, I set it on 2.0, seems like it works by hooking the kill wire to the tach signal (blue) wire. The backlight is bright enough. The only thing I don’t like is that it appears to respond slowly to changes in RPM. Since I am not using this in a race car or car with a transmission, it doesn’t matter.
