This is a nice built tank. But if you are expecting the overflow antifreeze from your radiator to be caught in this tank and then returned to the radiator when it cools, won't happen with this tank. It is to catch overflow only. It does NOT have a tube inside to allow vacuum to return the fluid to your radiator. I just assumed this when I ordered it. Had to modify it to return fluid to radiator. Just beware of this when you are ordering it!

These tanks are well built and designed, plenty of ports to work for any application. The reason for only 4 stars was they painted the cap threads and paint ran into the inside of the tank. I had to remove the paint from the cap lid with a wire brush to make the lid screw on right, also had to remove some loose flaky paint from inside the tank to stop it from contaminating my coolant fluid. But other than the paint issue, great tank for the money

Overall it's decent quality and does when it needs to do except for the tube on the side that helps you indicate the oil level which is not made of good quality and can come off during operation of vehicle which obviously will cause a leak fitment wise you need to figure out ahead of time because the one I purchased didn't fit with the product Dimension but I'm sure most people will be satisfied with it because if it's functionality as long as you don't have the same problem as I did with that side tube leaking

I have a 1982 Fiat Spider convertible that is showing it's age with the plastic and rubber items. The factory coolant overflow bottle has hardened and become brittle and is in need of replacement. I wanted to go with something that would stand the test of time and provide a better look. I have previously used a direct OEM replacement coolant tank from Evil Energy on a 2004 BMW 330CI and been happy with it so I thought I would try this one as well. As this tank is not an OEM direct replacement for my Fiat, I did have to make a bracket to mount it and it fits well in place of the old tank. I have driven the car several times so far and it has performed well with no leaks or failures. The car is now going into storage for winter so I will have to wait until spring for longterm results. As for now, I am happy and feel that I have a great product without breaking the bank. I call that a good value.
