I have had my Evolution Advanced die-cutting machine for a few years and have liked it very much. When I saw this motor attachment for such a reasonable price I had to try it. It is a game changer. So much easier than having to crank the handle. It is a little noisy but I can overlook that. After all it is an electric motor. The only drawback I found was that it was difficult to attach. I had to have my husband help. There is a part on the attachment that you have to squeeze together and push into the die-cutter. I found this very hard to do which is what actually attaches it to the machine. Once done, it worked wonderfully. I would recommend this product.

This little add-on motor unit makes using the embosser/cutter even easier when working on larger projects. It was designed to easily connect to the main unit and it fits well. Plug it in and you are all set. The unit works well and seems like it is of good quality.Nice addition to the embosser/cutter system

I purchased the Evolution machine many years ago and I love the performance of how the machine works. Everything comes out perfect every time. I did not order the motor when I purchased the machine as I thought it was too expensive. Years & years later, imagine how happy I was to see the motor for sale on Amazon for a ridiculously low price. I immediately ordered one and tried it immediately upon arrival. This is a crafters dream, I absolutely love it. I immediately ordered a second one as I am now prepared for the future of maybe a malfunction. I craft like crazy so I won't be surprised if I wear out the first motor. No worries, I have a back up. So happy for these purchases and so happy I found them on Amazon!

I purchased the WRMK Evolution Advanced die-cutter because I wanted a somewhat less expensive device, and I liked the option to make it electric at a later time. The motor was inexpensive, and performs as advertised. The only thing I don't like about it is that the motor only runs while the switch is being depressed. I would have given its rating one less star for this, but die-cutting only takes a few seconds, anyway, so it's still pretty easy to use.The motor only adds about 3 inches to the Evolution's footprint, so it is not in the way on my dining table full of craft supplies.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do - replaces the cranking mechanism on an Evolution Advanced with a motor. It is a little noisier than I'd like, but it works well. For comparison purposes, it is louder than my Cricut Explore Air, quieter than my Cricut Maker, and comparable to my friend's Gemini. I probably won't take it to crops because of the increased footprint as well as the noise, but it is a nice and welcome addition to my craft room. It will save your hand from repeated cranking (good for arthritis), but it doesn't free up a hand for other uses. The "on" button has to be held down the whole time it is running. It was significantly cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else.

This is a pretty unimpressive item. In order to use it you have to keep your finger on the switch and it requires a lot of pressure. Also it just seems to work in a pulse, not continuously, making the die cutting jerky and the impression uneven. I really wouldn't recommend it at all. I've put it back in the box and will continue using the crank handle on my Evolution to die cut and emboss. It's really disappointing too, because I love the Evolution.

Product was great but the price is ridiculous, it's almost the same cost with shipping in Canada as the machine it goes with.

The machine and motor are absolutely fine and work well but the cutting mat provided is a complete let down. Within a few days of use it warped badly and I am finding it impossible to straighten. Very disappointed. So now I have ordered THREE magnetic cutting mats from Amazon Spain in the vague hope that the magnetic ones will prove more robust than the ones supplied. What a shame that they have let an excellent product down with such a cheap and nasty cutting mat.

I have been watching the price on the motor for the Memory Keepers Evolution Advanced to come down. I wasn't sure I would ever need the motor because it would be most useful if I were making a really large number of embossed or letter press items, and I don't do that very often. Since the price was the lowest I had seen it and I wasn't sure how long it would be available this seemed a good time to get the motor. It attaches to the Evolution Advanced machine where the manual crank handle goes on the side of the machine. The motor has a plastic covered button that you press and it automatically cranks the embossing or die cutting platform through the machine. It works like a charm. The motor can be removed and the manual crank reapplied if wanted. I did that to make it easier to store since the motor sticks out more than the crank does.

This little motor does not take up a lot of room and works really well. It is a godsend for me as I do have some dexterity problems. I would definitely recommend this.
