My grandchild had been cutting up socks to make fingerless “gloves”. These not only saved the remainder of the socks but were a huge hit. They fit my 9 year old perfectly and are also quite “cool”. All the other kids at school are now on the hunt for something similar.

Must be the "in thing" with elementary kids. My granddaughter cut her old gloves to achieve this look. She absolutely loves them.
