Connettore resistente e ben fatto, è completamente in plastica rigida e resistente.Il connettore ha delle guarnizioni per renderlo resistente all'acqua.Sulla flangia che va montata a pannello ha un'ulteriore guarnizione che va a rendere impermeabile anche questo foro.Per collegare il cavo ci sono 9 pin sul retro di entrambi i connettori, i fili andranno saldati a stagno.Io ho aggiunto anche una guaina termoretraibile su ogni pin per coprire la saldatura e assicurare un'isolazione completa.Il connettore è molto semplice da installare e i pin sono ben fatti, molto semplici da saldare con gli strumenti adeguati.La flangia viene installata con 4 piccole viti su un foro da circa 16 mm, le viti sono abbastanza lunghe da poter installare su pannelli spessi fino a 5mm circa.Con la versione da 9 pin si possono utilizzare cavi fino a 0,5 mm2 e ha una portata dichiarata di 5A.La qualità generale è ottima, sono molto soddisfatto!

Some connectors have a high density of the pins that it is hard to solder, not these.The connector feels solid and plugs in without efford and the latch holds good,

Petite prise nécessitant un petit fer à souder fin.Je vais m'en servir pour des raccordement audio.Les différents joints et capots permettent de garder les connecteurs secs.Le bout du connecteur permet de verrouiller le cable pour éviter l'arrachement.

I bought the 7-pin version to connect some thermostat wires. Thermostat wire is 18AWG.The description says, "Cable Specification: 1.5mm²/16AWG" Well the 18ga wire (supposedly 1.22mm2) doesn't fit at all. Probaly will accept only 20 or 22 guage wire. So it's completely unusable for my application.Other than that, the build quality looks good.

I was totally impressed by the quality of this connector. It was much better than I expected. It has multiple gaskets inside the male connector to seal it to the female connector, and the cable glands on the back end also seals tightly. The dust cover for the female end also seals tightly when the connector is not plugged in. I would consider it rain- and splash-proof when it's connected or when the dust cover is on. The lockig mechanism is also solid and it's very secure when locked but very easy to remove once you press the tab to unlock it. Soldering the wires in was also relatively easy, but you'll want a fine-tip iron.
