what a difference in sound/vibration. With sound this is but one step but a large one in reducing the harshness of a crossbow. Vibration wise and saving your limbs with a dry fire these are life saving.

Just received this and installed it. OK so according to my wife who listened carefully this product does quiet down the bow. That's good because I returned Sims string leeches after they disintegrated (lasted maybe 30 shots) and just tossed away the totally gone cat whiskers AND returned Sims Limbsavers because both failed at the neck. The sticker attachment worked. So the REDS...........! My one disappointment is that these are NOT adjustable for the proper length. You have to adjust the brace height to get the string about a credit card distance from the face of the suppressors. There is a flat part of the stem that inserts into the riser and that is what the set screw rests against. And use blue Loctite on the screws as well as every screw on your bow or they'll vibrate loose in short order. So when you adjust your brace height you have to check to make sure the bow is sighted in. It seems that if Excalibur simple added small holes in the stem and supplied longer set screws this would be adjustable and you wouldn't have to alter the brace height. The way it is now is like the tail wagging the dog. Anyway.................. 4 Stars for quieting the bow

I was reluctant to buy this for my Matrix 330 because of some mixed reviews. I got them for my own comfort shooting, not because I thought they would silence the bow. They did take out some of the tinny high notes from the sound, and I certainly notice reduced vibration. Nothing to write home about, but I think worth it—I like to shoot a lot of bolts. They do seem like they will wear out pretty quickly, so the price is a bit high. I think that the reviewers who didn't notice a difference might benefit from adjusting the brace height. That helped mine work better.

Excellent quality and durability. Note, will not fit grizzly matrix Excalibur crossbows. You need 7008 for that one. Contact Excalibur with your model to make sure.

Extremely easy to install. I haven't got to shoot my bow after installation but I am sure they will work I mean it is an Excalibur product.
