I finally got to the point where I needed the 9 inch rear end. There I discovered that the carrier bearings were incorrect. The were oversized. Since I was outside the return window I have to find another correct set. I noticed in reviews that I was not the only person with this complaint. Check your package when you get it.

I ran into the same issue as some of the others here, the carrier bearings are WAY oversized. Realized it when I had already beat the bearings on and was about to out the races inthe housing. Don't buy for a ford 9 inch.

That one review said the side bearings were to big sure enough you get the bearing on the carrier then they would not go down in the saddles. then its time to bolt the ring gear to the carrier the bolts are short, there was a 1/4'' of bolt screwed into the carrier. Then its a 50 mile drive to get bolts that are a 1/2'' longer which are 20 dollars and 2 bearing and races for 50 dollars and 120 miles worth of diesel. WHAT A DEAL!!!!!

Everything was good, good quality parts, but the pinion shaft seal did not fit. Had to go to autozone to get the correct one
