I finally bit the bullet and went down this rabbit hole on my 2007 STI LTD. I'm glad I did. The throttle response is noticeably improved and the clutch pressure is wicked. In fact, it's so quick that it took me a little while to get used to the difference from stock. That being said, it launches cleanly, is quiet (something other aftermarket clutches have not been) and makes for clean shifts. I was a little concerned about streetability at first but it's clearly just a little getting used to. This just reminds you quickly that there are two correct positions for a clutch to be; IN and OUT.The install of the parts themselves was pretty straightforward but, like anything on a car, my extra time was spent doing things that had nothing to do with the clutch/flywheel at all (like a few impossibly frozen nuts on the downpipe and a realization far too late that the fork needed to be pushed toward the back of the car to engage the throwout bearing the first time!)All in all this stuff is great. There is a reason Exedy has a good name as well because I had a couple of questions (TORQUE setting on the pressure plate: 12.5 ft.lbs - which no torque wrench seems to go to but.. well.. close enough) and EXEDY was fast to respond to email questions. Good company! Hopefully I won't need to do any warranty stuff with them but there responsiveness was fantastic.Time to drive!
