Note that automotive exhaust backpressure sensors are plate-type capacitance construction needing a PWM input to transduce pressure into a voltage output. Such transducers are perfect for conditions of large-amplitude pressure oscillations as found in the exhaust of a reciprocating engine.

Haven’t gotten around to installing it but I made sure the new pigtail lines up with the old one and it’s a perfect match. 2007 f250 6.0

Do not buy! I bought this because I was getting DTC and replaced everything but this. So I replaced it since it was last on the list. Truck started fine drive fine for about 30 miles. It kept blowing my CAC hose off. And I would exceed boost. No to mention the spuddering ride and the bellows of black smoke. Not like rolling coal it was almost as if I had a VGT failure. Took it out, cleansed the carbon from the old one and now my truck runs fine. I would return it but since I used the Pig tails I can’t. I have a 2005 F350 no mods
