This kit worked out great for a custom side exhaust pipe I was doing on a golf cart. Had to do some modifications but the kit was perfect.

I wouldn't use this on a 3hp engine. I unscrewed the nut on the back and took the cap off.There are 3 plates, and a pipe that is blocked at the end that has some small drill holes on it for the exhaust to escape. I wouldn't put this on a 3hp engine. Not even a small generator. I cut the bottom apart. Completely gutted it. And welded it back together. Then I cut the end pipe outlet off and stilled it to 1/2 inch so some exhaust can go through.They also didn't send the lock nut that is supposed to come with it. Avoid this one.

Muffler looks nice and decently constructed. However it was not any quieter then the old worn factory muffler. Installed on a 8 hp Briggs & Stratton engine 5 star build on quality. 2 star on sound suppression

Used on a coleman minibike as listed in ad will work. Weld broke causing a severe burn on my leg caused a accident while riding due to pipe falling into chain. Caused a lot of damage to bike and personal injury! Buyer beware! Do not buy. Read other reviews from other people.
