My cricket carrier is a hand-me-down and didn't come with a way to supply my crickets with water, so figured I'd buy these. Crickets can drown in standing water and get things dirty very fast, so this seemed like a decent solution.I was wrong.At some point, the crickets decided that the sponge pieces were a good snack in addition to their food. Some even seemed to prefer eating the sponge. Many of their abdomens eventually blackened with how much they stuffed themselves with it.Do not buy these for crickets. Instead, try giving your crickets freshly washed veggies or place their food on a wet paper towel & remove it when they're finished.

Bought them for self made storage a lot smaller than I though however should have checked the size

This is a great produce , but its so hard to get the live crickets into the housewithout them escaping all over the place.
