The Exon Terra Cricket Pen is ideal for housing, keeping and dispensing live crickets. Crickets prefer dark spaces, and will readily crawl into the tubes which provide hiding places for them, making it easy to use the tubes as dispensing tools.\n\the tubes remain in position when the lid is removed, allowing easy access and less chance of cricket escape.

This is my favorite design. I like that I can take the lid off and still have the black tubes in place. Others have the tubes that come through the lid. Ordering a 2nd. I also appreciate the packaging. Shipped with bubble wrap to prevent cracks and all during shipping. Couldn't ask for much more.

This product is complete garbage. It is so shoddily made with cheap and thin plastic construction that I fear I'll break something every time I touch it. As someone who owns 2 Exo Terra terrariums, which are very solidly built, I can't believe this junk is also made by them. This looks and feels like something that costs them $3 to make. Maybe less, who knows?Update: This product is worse than I initially thought, and my initial impression was that this is a 1-star product. Well, aside from the shoddy construction, this cricket pen has some major, unacceptable flaws. It has large gaps on the top so the crickets are climbing to the top and escaping. One day I found 7 crickets loose in my house. That's just the number of escapees I found; who knows how many crickets in total escaped...

I bought this to hold crickets for feeding my tarantulas. It's a nice small size and comes with hide tubes and food and water dishes to keep the crickets juicy and healthy over the 3 days it takes to feed all my babies. I recommend this product!

came cracked, still usable but it is way too small. The description claimed that it can hold 20 adult cricket in fact it is not even enough for 5 crickets, this is probably a good container for one cricket

Handig krekelbak. De krekels moeten alleen niet te klein zijn. Dan ontsnappen ze! We hebben er genoeg rond lopen!! 😬🙄

As other reviewers mentioned, my cricket pen arrived with a crack, hence I dinged a star. But otherwise I'm pretty pleased with this pen, and especially with the feeder tube design. The size is perfect for keeping a large quantity of crickets. I dumped about 120 of the 1/4" banded crickets in there, just to give you an idea of what you can expect based on what you see in my photos. The pen has a top hatch, and comes with two feeder tubes along with a water dish and a sponge, as well as a food dish. I'm only using one of the tubes, but they work ridiculously well - the crickets love hiding out in the tube. The tubes slide out and the doors close behind them, making feeding time a mess free, quick and easy process.I sprinkled in some flukers feed and the little guys are chilling. Definitely recommend this setup.

Trop petite pas plus de 20 grillons.J'ai acheté la plus grande pour compléter l'alimentation de mon pogona. Je ne me sers pas des gamelles fournies. Donner à manger grâce aux tubes est un jeu d'enfant.Je recommande 😊

This product has made storing crickets SO much better. I am on my 5th batch of crickets with this cage and have not had any crickets die in this storage. I was bummed with shipment BC it came in a bag and cracked the plastic pretty bad. I was able to easily get a replacement and return the original. Second time it came in a box and still had a small crack. Product usage and convenience pretty much make up for it though. In addition, my sibling bought the same product from local pet store and that one had a small crack as well. Worth it for the ease of feeding my gecko without having to reach or deal with crickets hopping out of a jar. Also saves me $$$ because I don’t have crickets dying.

Facile da utilizzare questa fauna box è ideale per chi possiede rettili e deve nutrirli con insetti vivi. Ne ho acquistate due nella dimensione small che si presta ad ospitare circa 15 grilli o cavallette alla volta. Facile anche da pulire.

This is a great and very useful item for anybody with a pet that needs to be fed insects, particularly crickets. I use the large size it makes emptying out the plastic containers insects typically come packaged in the shops and also means that I can place plenty of fresh food for the crickets so they are gut-loaded before they are fed to my gecko. I tend not to use the trays supplied as I prefer to use fresh fruit and vegetables to feed the crickets but they are good for dried food, water gel or the sponge can be used if you need to use water but I found it tricky getting these out again when there were still crickets in the tank; you could maybe attach strings or something to pull them up to make it easy. The tank is easy to clean with few parts for muck to get stuck in but the tubes are best cleaned out using a bottle brush.I've had very few problems using this, the tubes are ideal particularly when you are adding a calcium or vitamin powder to your pet's food as all you do is shake a few of the insects out of the tube, into a plastic bag and add the powder and shake the bag out into your pet's tank. I don't remove the clear cap ends as I see no need to and there are no replacements if I lost or broke any of them if I were to remove them.Overall, this is great for people who have pets who need insects to eat but who prefer to keep the contact with the insects to a minimum and have few escapees!

I own various sizes of and they don't even come close to the quality of this Exo Terra Cricket Pen.Both have the same identical removable ventilated lids with one major exception. Lee's feeder tubes slide into the TOP sides of the LID rather then the body of the Keeper / Pen like Exo's does. A BIG minus when removing the entire top off and handling three items / parts. Exo's tubes stay put, inside, leaving any Hobo cricks remaining inside the tube(s) with no way to escape.Another BIG difference between the two styles are the "Cricket (tubes) dispensers themselves, Lee's are round while the Exo's is square, which makes the EXO'S more stable all the way around and keeps pressure on the trays at their "bottoms" from moving out of place. Here are the BIG differences though:Lee's has these "Lame" round flaps that (suppose) to cover the tube opening when pulled out and almost all of the time they (the flaps) fall off!The Exo Terra Cricket Pen has a drop down "Flapper door" built into the the inside of the pen's sides NOT IN THE LID (like Lee's) that will never fail.Simply slide the tube out of the Exo Terra Cricket Pen and the flapper drops down very fast and automatically to prevent escapes and easily reopens when the tubes are reinserted. The Exo Includes both a cricket food tray, and a water tray, both with tapered steps for even the smallest "Pinheads" to scale, the "Lee's" does not provide any Gut Loading trays. EXO also included a black sponge to retain moisture in the water tray. Each tray slides in neatly on the opposite ends of the pen held in place by the (inserted) square tubes that keep the trays from sliding around. The trays can easily be removed for refilling and cleaning. A very nice touch! At the time of this review both where eligible for "Prime" with the Exo costing ONLY 22 CENTS MORE than the Lee's, it's easily worth even a few dollars more! Also the Exo has a nice shinny Black top cover and is manufactured with a thicker, higher quality plastic, than the Lee's.I'm going to purchase the next.P.S.I removed the sponge from the water tray and fill it with
