I got this item because of the fold outdoor, but I noticed that it does not open up like a clamshell and it made a sales point out of these smaller footprint. I am not used to stuffing everything in one opening, though the opening is deeper.

I was skeptical at first but it fit all my clothing plus more. I went on a 4day trip, packed way too much. Clothes for warm days and cool nights. 2 outfits each day. Loves that it opened from the top! Space saver for sure. Perfect size for a carry on, light weight and rolled with ease! A must buy.

This luggage suitcase has a few surprises waiting for me. First off, this is my first with a zipper pull tabs coasting right at the TSA lock. When I saw this I thought that to be the most brilliant design ever. zippers will always end up at the same location, good for muscle memory after frequent use; and will not need to look all over for the zipper pulls. But then after a few searches, this turns out to be a common design shared throughout the suitcase industry. Anywho, love the design no matter what.After opening the TSA zippers, I then found another set of zippers behind the laptop compartment. These are the actual zippers to access the deep inner compartment of this luggage suitcase. The middle rim zippers on the outside is only for expanding the volume of this suitcase. Wow that was misleading, but okay, I dig, because I think that actually ends up more secure. The only downside is the hassle of having to go through the laptop compartment in order to access the inner compartment. Occasionally I may just need to do exactly that, and imagine having to flip flop that laptop compartment, I would find it annoying. But I haven't come across such situation so fingers crossed.Aside from some anti-common designs, this suitcase is actually pretty good. It appears to be very strong, high quality, and all the seam lines and the design patterns are symbolic with higher end stuff. I actually like this suitcase a lot. I've used it twice on those 2-day trips and have found it to work just fine for me. Although a zipper to open the inner compartment from the middle rim would create such convenience from an wide-open cadence, I can now get more used to accessing the compartment from the laptop pocket. Not too shabby at all. At time of reviewing this suitcase, it's right under 100 bucks which in terms of value, I just don't see how this case is worth so much. There are plenty of larger, similar feature suitcases which easily cost half the price. But this is still an overall high-tier suitcase, so I'll back it and say it's recommendable if you're wanting to go for this style.

This is a 20-inch suitcase that fits the usual carry-on luggage size requirement of 22x14x9 inch. In fact, its size is 21.26x13.78x9.45 inch that seems a bit over-sized for its depth. The suitcase is made of ABS and scratch-resistant PC hard shells that are lightweight, waterproof and sturdy. If it is for carry-on purpose only, it’s fine and capable for long-lasting use.The suitcase has a front opening flap design that opens with zipper at its front side edge. After the zipper is opened, there are Velcro sleeve fabric linking both sides of the front shell with the main compartment. This can prevent full opening and falling down of the front shell when opening it vertically. On the other hand, this forms a simple compartment in front of the main compartment. Another zippered cover for the main compartment has a large open pocket for placing laptop for easy access. Moreover, there are also a zippered pocket and a zippered mesh pocket at the inner front shell for placing handy stuffs.The main compartment of the suitcase has elastic straps for holding clothes or stuffs in place. There is no further inner division in the main compartment. The main compartment can be expandable by a zipper at the middle part of the suitcase. However, the expanded suitcase is not qualified for the airlines’ carry-on luggage size limit and requires check-in then. Anyway, it’s a flexible feature of the suitcase.The 3-stage retractable telescopic handle is sturdy. The suitcase also has handles on the top and one side to facilitate lifting. Moreover, the 360° double spinner wheels are smoothly rotate, and all the zippers are also operated smoothly. In addition, it’s good for having a built-in 3-digits TSA combination lock on the suitcase.

Brought because of the laptop front storage with separate opening but reduces overall storage space with no expansion zipper. Good for a light carry on luggage.

POSITIVE: I recently bought a large suitcase of the same colors and design at TJ MAXX so I was thrilled when I saw this on amazon. I wanted to replace my current carryon for one with a hard cover, this was definitely an upgrade. I love that it has a front laptop zipper compartment as I always travel with my laptop, and have to carry a separate bag to lug it around. This is going to save me a lot of hassle when traveling.NEGATIVE: Only negative feed back I have is that it to get to the main storage compartment, you have to open the front zipper that gives access to the lap top, un-velcro the wall behind it, Then you are able to get into the main storage area of the bag. It would be much less of a pain if the suitcase opened like a standard bag. However for the overall look, I am fine with it.
