I have 3 cats and 2 small dogs to try this with and none of them liked it, for various reasons. But individual preferences differ and I can believe some cats or dogs well under the stated weight limit might enjoy this. For the price if you can get any use out of it at all it's not bad.My cats flat out refused this. They are all accustomed to crates and duffel-style carriers and do alright with those, but the narrow opening and strange construction of this seemed to throw them off. I got one inside but it was my biggest cat -he's a slender 14 lbs., very long kitty- and if any of my cats would go for it, it would be him because he's liked other backpack carriers before. But I couldn't close it without using force on him or the carrier so I didn't push the issue. It would have been very cramped in there for him.For my 12-lb. Yorkie this would have been impossible and he was not playing along. For my teeny li'l 6-lb. Pomeranian, he just didn't like it. He's used hard crates, soft-sided crates, slings, etc. but he really balked at this. He strongly prefers being carried by hand over every other style of conveyance so this wasn't shocking but I was surprised at how vehement he was about it since he's generally an easygoing, cooperative, have-a-go type guy.The construction is sort of flimsy and fiddly so this would be very difficult to clean and probably not a good carrier for a young puppy. I can imagine some cats might really like it, though, so if you've read this far and are still thinking your pet would go for it, it might be worth a try. It is cute and has decent straps, certainly adequate for carrying a pet under 10 lbs. which is about the heaviest this will comfortably carry.

I tried a lot of bags, this one is amazing. 7lb cavapoo feels so comfortable inside. Flew twice. Tsa approved. Train often. She jumps right in. Hard bottom keeps the structure safe for her. Straps make it easy to carry around. 2 small sized pockets expand a bit. Cushion top handle makes it easy to carry around when not on back.

Not quiet for a 12lb cat. It may be for 13lbs but unless it’s a quick trip you kitty will not be comfortable sitting in here long term.

This is surprisingly lightweight, but well made and works excellently. Whether you need to take the cat to the vet or just on an outing, this is a very stylish option, and gives them a lot of air and a view. The mesh seems scratch resistant, a rather stubborn attack on it with claws didn't do anything, so you should have no worries about your cat getting out. It is a bit on the smaller side. The description says cats up to 13 pounds, but size matters too, this will do best for kittens and smaller cats. Larger cats might be uncomfortable or even not fit. Still, this is such a cute bag and quite well made. For the price, I can't say it's anything but 5 stars. Just make sure your cat isn't too big, and this is a nice carrier. And it folds very flat for storage, and is so lightweight, that it's easy to pack when not in use. It came well wrapped in a box.

I ordered this pet backpack for my cat, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. While the backpack is well-made and seems durable, the design leaves much to be desired. My cat is an average size male short hair, and he was clearly uncomfortable inside—the space is just too small for bigger pets.Additionally, the backpack's design feels limited. There aren't many storage pockets, which would have been useful for carrying pet essentials and some of my personal items. It also doesn't fit well on my larger frame (I'm a bigger guy), making it uncomfortable to wear for extended periods.Overall, while it's a sturdy product, it might be better suited for smaller pets and people with a slimmer build. I wish it offered more in terms of both space and design features.

This cat backpack is very well made and large enough for an adult cat to "ride in". It has a vented top so your fur baby can see out and have plenty of air.
