I gave this as a gift to a novice hatchet/axe collector. Seeing his face when he received it would have been confirmation enough. He had to test the sharpness, it passed, test the feel of the handle in his hand and on and on, it passed! He loves the design, the leather weaving, the sheath, absolutely everything about it. Took pictures and sent to all his friends the same day. So, I'd say it's beautiful and the quality is outstanding.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, along with another axe from Gladius, as birthday gifts. When I saw these online, I knew they were perfect gifts for him, as a history buff and heathen.
