The fitply kneeling pad is stiffer and thicker than my current pad which is a plus. It's cut from EVA sheet and the cuts are clean. The hand opening pops out and can be put back in it's such a good fit. The pad size and thickness are as described. When you first kneel it seems unyielding, then your knee sinks into the surface and it conforms to your knee. Your knee won't slide on the pad, which is different than my current pad. It feels a bit stiff, but when kneeling on rocky soil that will be a plus.This pad is competitively priced for an Amazon item, though a similarly sized pad is available from a discount tool retailer for less.It's a nice sized pad with room to adjust your position a bit but it does feel a bit stiff. I'm hoping it'll soften up a little as it gets used.

This is an extra thick kneeling pad. This kneeling pad provides more protection to my knees while gardening. The foam is dense, so it's firm, but with enough give to make it comfortable.

I really like this kneeling pad, it is much firmer than what I was thinking that it would be. It is made very well and has a nonslip texture on both sides. It is bigger than most kneeling pads that you might see at a big box mart, which is a plus. We have a couple of kneeling pads, and this by far is the thickest. This is a 1/3 of the price than what I can get for at my local big box mart, so this is a great value! I am very impressed with it, and highly recommend it!

I have a couple of other kneeling pads that are getting worn down, one with similar texture and thickness as this one. It has been my best pad for the past 2-3 years. I like the color on this blue pad, but it is not as long as my other one. It should still work fine, since thickness is most important ... it's just that when I'm outside and kneeling to weed garden beds or mulch around shrubs, I often have to stretch out more with knees further apart to reach over larger spans. If this doesn't work as well for my garden chores, it will still be useful for inside chores like cleaning floors (I still clean mine the "Cinderella" way without a mop).

This pad is just the right size and firmness for kneeling on while doing gardening or anything that requires you to kneel for any period of time .Price is fair .

I have been using similar kneeling pads for several years, mostly for garden work but really for anything that requires spending time on my 73 year-old knees – or my equally old rear end. The attached photos illustrate how this pad compares to two others I have owned and used for many years. It is comparable to my favorite, the large, thick green one just below it in the photo. That one is slightly larger but the same thickness and density. Both are far superior to the small green pad to their left which I rarely use any more.
