Nice and snug but not overly tight. Yried another brand and could see the stress cracks in the plastic after trying to get it on. These ones work perfectly, buying another set.

These make it very fast and easy to install and adjust boat fenders.

I thought these were really convenient until I pulled out a fender to use it okay and found the thing and fallen apart. Apparently they only last about a month. The material must be very brittle.

Fits snugly around 1.25" (OD) square aluminum tubing and 1/4" nylon rope. 3/8" seems like the maximum diameter of rope that could fit through the eye.The plastic seems hard so hopefully durable and tough--both in terms of UV/sun and use through possible impact force. My main concern is the likely point of failure is around the eye/hole. Seems like it might fail if there's a forceful downward pull on the fender, perhaps from getting caught and combined with a passing wave or change in tide. So I would like to have seen that area more significantly reinforced in design. Perhaps a cast metal with overmolded plastic? On the other hand, designing in an intended point of failure may be better than having one's tubing bent? One may wish to tether the end of the fender line just in case it breaks while away from the vessel and prevent the fender from floating off (though that would be the least of my concern at that point with the boat banging into the dock!).And so I don't think I'd want to use these for longer-term docking, in which case the fenders should be properly cleated and tied-off. But for quick, temporary, or short-term docking, these seem well suited to that task.

I have purchased these in the past got a few years before one broke. They are pretty durable especially for being in the sun all the time . Gets the job done. Would recommend.
