This rope made a huge difference in how much more comfortable it was to bring up the anchor. Recommend that everyone who uses an anchor, change to this type of rope.

As far as I can tell everything looks just fine. The entire length of rope is intact and blemish free and the spool held up nicely. The thimble is spliced in very nicely.

Quality product. I liked the thimble. The whip finishing stitch or thread spun around the base of the thimble and the end of the rope was exposed and seem vulnerable to fraying so I coated those areas with clear silicone sealant. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Order was shipped quickly.

This is more than enough rope to handle our 3 rd anchor for our 21’ runabout boat that we have lost at almost same spot each time, this rope works perfectly, heavy duty, more than enough length, very sturdy love this product and you cannot beat the price.

I used this for lazy jacks to control the mainsail on boat with a 55’ luff. So it really does not get loaded as an anchor line would. I can say that it spliced well, seemed to have a consistent, good core and a tight braid on the cover. I used 2 spoils of 150’ and they both arrived in usual Amazon speed and were packaged adequately and on spools. They measured out slightly over length.

This is great quality line. I have several lengths of this now for my anchor lines and it works great. I have also used some of it for fender and docking lines. It is just a great, affordable braided line.

This is excellent anchor rope for a boat without a windlass. I however have a Lewmar Horizon 600 Windlass on my 2003 Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee cabin cruiser. I bought 250' of 5/8" rope for this boat. It fits nicely in the rope locker with no bunching or twisting on itself. The windlass however was not able to get a grip on the rope to raise or lower the anchor since the rope is too smooth for this application. I now have a traditional 3 strand nylon anchor line on order. I am posting this review since none of the other reviewers of this product commented on the use of this rope with a windlass. I took a chance that this rope would work with my windlass since it is an excellent value and I liked the idea of having a double braided rope that would not twist on itself and occasional jam the windlass mechanism. Hopefully I can spare someone else from the hassle of trying to use this rope in a windlass application.

I've been using this anchor line for 4 'months. I use my 22ft seasport a few times a week and always anchor to go fishing.I purchased 600ft of 1/2" diameter. It's definitely overkill but I wanted as much as I could fit in my anchor line hatch. To my surprise I managed to fit the whole 600+ feet.This anchor line is very pliable which makes it very easy to store. It has no memory and it lies flat onto itself making it take up very little space.This line is very comfortable on my hands. I use it to pull up a 22lb Bruce anchor with 10' of 5/16" chain. It seems to have good abrasion resistance, at least against fiberglass.I am very happy with this anchor line. The price is amazing compared to the quality of this rope.
