Using this chrome top shell for a custom PS5 controller I'm building. It's so shiny! It reminds me of a certain fictional scifi character from a popular movie. Fit up has been super easy with parts from the same manufacturer. The finish is smooth and the edges has no flaws. The package included a matching screen/pad, but I'm replacing that with a similar red chrome purchased separately. I love that the package include a screwdriver with magnetic tip, a plastic separator tool, and spare screws. The buttons that I'm installing work perfect with this top shell, so I couldn't be happier.

It was not easy for me to put it together but we watched the video and it worked. The most challenging part was they said we can take one piece of from blowing hot air from a hair dryer. Not true in my experience. I needed a heat gun and I melted the original piece until the circuit board finally came free. It was a bit tough but it worked. Oh, and use your original screws whenever possible. I tried to use one. Of the black screws provided and now it’s like so I have to open it again and do the process over…kind of a pain…

I finally put my controller together last night. I unfortunately put a screw partially though the touchpad, use the supplied blackscrews. It looks amazing and feels good in hand, but the oils in my hand made it look like a greasy window that you are tryi g to clean with juat water. I am having some issues with the height of my d-pad, it works, but doesnt feel "right" and can't tell if its the ExtremeRate buttons or this part.

THE GLOSSY TOUCH IS IMMACULATELY ANYONE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE HOT AIR GUN/BLOW DRYER IS A BABYIt was super easy install the screw holes do feel different but everything else went Beautifully. Also it just the front plate but I knew that going in to It.

Das case hat eine super Farbe und ist auch robust. Aber um das einbauen zu können, muss man das ganze gamepad auseinandernehmen. Es ist wirklich nicht einfach das einzubauen. Wenn ich das gewusst hätte dann hätte ich es nicht gekauft.
