I've gone through 2 of these. I love this design for fighting games because it makes input feel so much more responsive. Easy enough to install and super easy to swap dpads out. Wish the green magnetic dpad came in different colors though.

Look, I'll give it an "A" for effort, but coming from my Elite Xbox One controller. This is not a product that is any shape or form "good"The magnetic D-pad is way too high there isn't any boundries to keep this thing in place. I got it to use the other d-pad to do 360 circle special moves in SFV and that was an epic failUpon press its below average, also, doing any multi directions will result in either itll halfway come off or come completely off..Just look at my photos you'll see my problem with it.. If the creator is reading this..... PLEASE lower the height on this thing and it'll make a big difference

Super easy to install. No cutting nothing. I just wanted the dpad upgrade I actually like the OG buttons and the height of the joysticks. Overrall awesome piece. A lot heavier and much better quality than I expected.

Taking apart a dual shock 4 controller isn't hard for me, but I'd have to say for others, they might struggle installing this mod. After I did install it, I like how easy it is to use and replace. The things I didn't like were how raised the dpad sits. Its too high for my taste, wish it was lower, as close as possible to the default dpad height. Also, the magnets aren't that strong. If you push a little too hard on the disc/round/flat dpad on the edges, the thing will tilt over, sometimes come off. And lastly, pushing directly in the middle of the dpad, makes it push the entire thing down. I don't like that, cause you only want a certain direction to go down and register, not the entire surface. If this thing gets some future fixes/enhancements, I might try it again. Its nice and simple, but there are a few things that make it seem like a cheap replacement. It didn't really fit my needs to enhance my dual shock 4.

You'll need to open up the DS4 and install the green dpad. Within minutes of playing, one of the magnets came out. It'll go back in no problem, but will permanently be an issue unless you glue it, I imagine. The circular dpad attachment flip off of the magnetic base if you press the edges too hard- frustrating. I'll be reinstalling the original dpad. It was a good idea, but needs work.

I wanted to replace my dpad by a circular ish model. This works great. As expected, the tricky part is opening the controller and not screwing up and tearing something. If you are careful and take your time, its pretty easy and fun to do. If a piece gets loose, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube that can tell you what goes where as long as you don't lose any piece.
