I had a controller that I didn’t know what to do with. I’ve been on the hunt for a new one that was affordable and I was intrigued by the idea of upgrading one of my already owned controllers. I think it took me 2 hours to put together and immediately after setting it down I was excited. It’s bulky and has some weight. Not everyone is into that but I definitely enjoyed it. I don’t remember it coming with face buttons or triggers, so make sure to get some if you want them. Texture on the back wasn’t bad and overall very happy with my product. May get another one for my other controllers that need repair.

It's great and has held up to hundreds of hours of FPS and Monster Hunter.PROS: Fits great in medium sized hands and its great being able to map all the face buttons to keep a finger on L1&2, R1&2, 🔺, ⭕, 🟥, & ❌ at all times while aiming in an FPS or quest. Back button took over two years of wear before breaking. Replacing a broken back button is really simple with cheap tools.CONS: The trigger stops don't really work and make L2&R2 get stuck for a moment before going back to normal but it's fine for me since I normally use L1&R1 for alt/primary fire so I didn't even bother with the stops. Ring and pinky finger fatigue from high resistance momentary switches during long sessions.SUGGESTIONS: Having the back buttons use omron or rubber dome switches would be prefferable since the resistance of the momentary switches causes strain after a long sessions and they would be more reliable. Perhaps even a 4-paddle style system that uses hot swappable switches so people that accidentally press the buttons can swap to a switch with more resistance. Redesign the geometry features of the trigger stop so sticky triggers won't happen.::Tangientally related rant that is completely unrelated to this product that advocates for DIY repairs::If you want to keep the same controller working well for a long time it's a good idea to get into diy repairs. Minus the cost of a cheap soldering iron, solder sucker, wick, carbon filtered fan, tweezers, repair screw driver + bits, and a pack of analog stick wipers I've saved well over $380 in game repair shop services or $580 if I kept buying new controllers.Learn how to take out and put in new analog stick wipers cause whoever makes the ones $ony and M$ use now dgaf and stopped caring about wiper robustness sometime around 2014-5. I've played Sony systems since PS1 and never had to deal with stick drift until around 2015 after replacing a launch contoller with a new one. Ever since then every controller got bad stick drift after around 6ish months. After a couple years of this I bit the bullet with equipment and started getting into diy repair. Turns out some friends and family have been running into the same issue. They buy the parts at cost and I've been hooking them up with this and battery replacements so we can all save some cash.

Not bad for the price I've been a xbox player for awhile and have wanted to change to a ps4 because the stock stick tension on ps4 controllers are better . Luckily had one laying around and seen this and gave it a go. PROS:1. Cheap alternative compared to scuf or Xbox elite controller which i had2. If your not that good hands on its ok . The Build process was easy and if you run in to any trouble they have videos on YouTube showing the whole process3. No soldering needed unless you want l3 or r3 mapped. There are softwares on pc you can use to remap or change binds anyways4. New back shell comes with some type of grip. big plus!!5. Button placement is OK and controller feels solid after putting everything back togetherCons:No real cons more like suggestions. The trigger stop are honestly useless to me so I decided to us the bumpers for aim and shoot instead of triggers . So maybe a look at better trigger stops.I did find the new controller shell is even bigger than my Xbox controller take a lil time to get used too but for the price I'll take it.And the buttons!! I find the 2 upper back buttons very easy to access and size of them are great . Maybe making them round later would be better IMO. The 2 lower buttons i find harder to press because of placement and size . Making them all the same size as the upper 2 and or round would be best . Also placing them a bit higher I find my ring fingers resting in between the buttons cause they feel to low. I think it might just be the lower 2 buttons causing it because they are so big or my had size idk lol just a suggestion. All in all great product for the price and I can't for what else you guys bring out in the future!! THANKS

What can I say, eXtremeRate done it again. It was pretty tough attaching the button ribbon to the back, but the result make up for it. This give you everything. 4 back buttons and trigger stop that is pretty decent. Not only that they are space properly so that you won't get finger cramp. The shape of the controller is very comfortable to hold. Some compare it to and Xbox controller but I don't think that is true. Maybe the size can be compare but this feel a lot better in my personal opinion. It naturally grip to the form of my hands if that make sense. For example if you ever use a ps back button attachment. You have to hold it a certain way that it could take some getting use to. This it just natural how your back fingers are place that no learning curve is involve.Another big plus is the setting option is no longer a heat touch sensor. I never like them and always cut them off. This time it an actually button that make it so much easier to set thing up. It won't activate automatically just because your finger is near it like the heat sensor. I will always say this but back button should be industry standard by now. I would be willing to bet that everyone uses them in some form or another. Until that happen, I would gladly find a cheaper method of modding my controllers for the competition. Great price for what it does. Sure you have to sacrifice a controller but that just mean you are technically using official Sony parts and making it better.
