TLDR: great product and easy to follow along with video for beginners. Highly recommended.First of all, this isn't my first time modding controllers. I'd bought the following for PS4 controllers: metallic blue buttons, baby blue front shell, pink front ahell, pink back shell, purple back shell, baby blue buttons, pink buttons and purple buttons. *I have not finished all the projects I have for these. But I've used a couple of them (as pictured; the blue thumbsticks are from another manufacturer.)It was as easy as it could be for fighting with the typical controller bits. I love the way the buttons feel and how everything looks when put together. What's great is how easy it is to COMPLETELY customize. (Only wish there were more color options, but that's just me. There's still plenty enough.)For those who haven't done it before, there are easy to follow along with videos. (I took it upon myself to watch one, just to see how well, or not well, they were made.) I, as a person with ADHD, think that these videos make it easy for newbies to follow along with.Each package comes with the tools that you will need, however I do reccomend that you have some alcohol pads on standby in case you have some mess inside your controller to clean. One of mine, I'd gotten used, and was glad I was prepared. Looks like a previous owner spilt some stuff on it. (Not like that really matters here. Haha.) I used my tools because I like the way they feel better than what this comes with. However, if you don't have the necessary tools, you will after purchasing this.But definitely worth getting if you want to customize your controllers in any way.

I had a lot of problems putting this controller together.The silicone part behind the PS button doesn't look like it will fit. It doesn't look like it does on my original shell. I promise, it fits. I even cut the holes on the silicone, which was unecessary.The screw holes on the hand grip part, don't line up. I don't know whos fault that is though. I did use a bottom shell from a different company, but it could have also been the original innards that loop around that make it not line up. I used a heat gun to help.I also cut the little stems that usually lock the top and bottom together...those little clips that usually break the first time you open the shells to mod? I figured I didn't need them.There are gaps in the seems by the triggers. I don't know if it is because I broke apart the clips? It doesn't bother me, but I see a lot of reviews and most people don't like that.I think it looks great and everything feels solid and works the way it should (I always test all features as soon as I get it together)I also have a clear hard shell skin coming in to protect it.All in all, I know buying Dualshock parts is an adventure because you don't know what you are going to get, especially if you aren't sure what it is that you already have. This is a great piece that works for me!

The peg near the touch pad is on the complete opposite side that it’s supposed to be on so it did not fit AT ALL and forcing it only made it worseEven after I cut it off with pliers it still didn’t quite itTaking my controller apart and back together again several times to get it to fit has made my once PERFECTLY fine working controller now almost unusableI bought other new parts for it like new thumb sticks and buttonsPLUS a new ribbon cable and charging chipTried the new ribbon cable still doesn’t workWhen my new chip arrives and it STILL doesn’t work then it’s probably beyond repairI’m returning it and getting a full refundPlease DO NOT waste your money on this unless you have the correct model it shows in the pics!!!

Would of gave it one star but the texture of the shell it’s self was nice to hold and better than the default PS4 controller. However I tried for hours to fit it on and I didn’t align where it should of and almost broke the triggers on my controller not to mention how delegate it is, if you slip whilst doing cone thing with it, it’s completely broken.

TL;DR: Great product, nearly perfect. Installation is a pain in the butt, but that's not eXtremeRate's fault. Do yourself a favor and get an iFixIt tool kit, it'll really help the installation. Not for beginners, but I absolutely love the end product. 95/100!I should just say at the start, for the sake of full disclosure, that electric lime is my all time favorite color. If you gave me an electric lime turd I'd put it on my shelf for display then immediately drive you to the hospital, cuz that's not normal. Anyway, I might be a little bit biased.Let me also echo what others have said: This is not a beginner's project. (I thought it would be when I bought the shell; I should have read more of the reviews.) Replacing a PS4 controller shroud involves removing tiny, easily lost screws, maneuvering tiny, easily broken wires, and a touch of brute force. This is not a flaw with eXtremeRate's product, it's just a result of the way that SONY builds their controllers.That said, being a beginner myself it took about an hour to get the shell on, but holy crap was it worth it to have my favorite controller in my favorite color! I'd give the fit and finish 95/100, some spots don't line up perfectly, but the difference is so small as to be unnoticable. The finish on the shell has a nice, silky feel in the hand, a sharp contrast with SONY's own lowest common denominator plastics. The rubber plunger under the home button didn't fit the new shell quite perfectly either, but it was easy enough to make it work that it's all the same in the end.As a nice bonus, ER sent along a screwdriver and enough screws that I could afford to lose a few along the way. Not everybody does this, it's always nice to see customer friendly practices.Long review for a small product. No, the shell isn't perfect, but it IS damn good. If you go into this expecting a five minute job and a factory finished fit you'll be disappointed, if you go in expecting a PITA installation and a really good result you'll probably be happy. If this looks like something you'd like, and you're willing to put in the elbow grease to make it work, I'd strongly recommend the purchase!SONY, by the way, only gets 3/5 stars for ease of disassembly. You'd think they were hiding gold in there or something, sheesh.

Come per tutti i modelli di questo venditore, anche questo è perfetto. Il montaggio è relativamente facile, dipende dall'esperienza di chi lo fa, ma nel complesso non è difficile. Bisogna stare attenti al modello del proprio controller ps4 prima dell'acquisto. Per dubbi o domande rispondete a questa recensione.

Todo perfecto, ningun tipo de plástico sobrante, calidad exacta al original, antes de comprar asegurarse que el mando es del modelo V2 (los nuevos que han lanzado a partir de Ps4 slim y Pro) y el JDM indicado en la imagen (no concreto porque de un color a otro puede cambiar y soy consciente que la opinion puede verse en distintos colores).Todo un detalle que vengan tambien el tornabis magnetizado y tornillos por si te dan problemas los del original.Por mi parte 0 problemas con los productos de esta gente.
