Destroyed 2 controllers trying to get this to work. If I would have known that this is so in depth and removal of tiny parts that tear from touching them most people would not buys this. I am out $150 and a cover that is in the trash. What a waste!

The shell looks amazing on my ps5 controller now I'm playing as a millionaire. I did order the trim piece which after I get it installed my controller will look complete. The grip feels amazing but one thing the plastic piece that came with this shell must use. The factory piece won't work with the touch pad.

Great kit. Controller looks awesome with it. The process is somewhat involved though. Its more then just a few screws. But the video link provided walks you through it

The product quality is really good. Admittedly I think they just hydro dip or vynal wrap regular ps5 factory shells but it looks really nice! I already had one the first time and I’ve had the back on for about a couple years. But one thing to keep in mind is that your colored fronts and backs will get dinghy and like stained dirty. That’s why I got the carbon look, because it’s like glossy and slides well. But on the back it did peal a little but I can’t see or really feel it but other than that it’s really good!

LOVE it!!! But I hated the process. There’s alot to this. I also changed the shell to my Xbox controller, very easy. This took a few hours. If you’re gonna go through this process, might as well change out the buttons, thumbsticks and D-pad. Once you begin you’ll realize the same thing, that you don’t want to do this twice. I have a model kit tool set, makes this much easier. If you don’t have that and don’t want to get that, they provide you with the basic tools you’ll need. Will need a heat gun, no getting around that. Also, their YouTube videos are a HUGE help. But once you put everything back together you forget the hard work and you’ll be happy with your unique controller. It feels great too, not too smooth where it’ll slip out of your hands. Doesn’t feel cheaply made either. No gaps. Like it came from Sony this way. Highly recommend!!!

The overall feel and quality are fairly high, but the thickness of the shell is not quite the same as an original shell, so this results in the face buttons and dpad being less firmly held between their rubber membranes and the front shell. This isn't too much of an issue for the face buttons, because the DualSense also uses a thick rubber piece around all of the buttons that holds them in place. But for the dpad, in my case at least, it was VERY lose even freely rattled around in its slot when fully reassembled. I had to disassemble again, and shim up the dpad itself with some strips of tape in the cross section. Now it fits tightly as it should, but this isn't something that should be an issue on a $20 product that's only half a controller housing.Beyond that, if I had to nitpick, the woodgrain print is a fair bit darker and less pronounced than the product images, and my touchpad grain is a bit distorted and crooked, likely from being dipped at an odd angle when they applied the print.Installation is simple if you are used to taking controllers or other electronics apart, but probably a bit daunting if this is your first project like this, particularly removing the touchpad from the front plastic of an original shell. This is possible to do without a heatgun/hairdryer, but it makes it a bit easier. Also, just a lot of ribbon cables and fiddly parts to potentially break if not careful or comfortable with them, but that's all just on Sony for making the Dualsense so over-engineered.Overall, decent product, but not amazing.

Touch is not supported, so what is the point of buying the frame? Be careful not to be deceived

I love the new look, and it was pretty easy to install while watching the video instructions. BUT today I went to change the two smaller buttons by the touch pad when I found out that it’s now damn near impossible to pry off the face plate without damaging it or the new shell. It’s nice that everything is nice and secure, but I wish I would have known this before assembling it. Make sure you make all changes to your controller on the first go. Ye be warned.

Sieht echt edel aus in der holzoptik. Passt auch alles perfekt zusammen und einfach zum umschrauben mit kurzer YouTube Anleitung

Fairly easy to install, fits to the internal controller components exactly like the official Dualsense shell. I wouldn’t be shocked if the same moulds are used/produced in the same factory.Very nice glossy feel to the whole shell. My only complaint would be that it’s a little expensive for what it is. Especially if you want to mod a few different aspects of the controller with the products available.£20 for a shell, £10 for new sticks, £37 for rear paddles, etc. and it’s already more expensive than the controller itself.
