The EXUS Circular Polarizer is an essential filter for shooting landscapes and scenery as it suppresses surface reflection of the subject to enhance colour contrast.
The high light transmission polarizer on the filter makes colours look more intense and shadows darker with contrast, so the view from the finder is easier to distinguish.
Adoption of new features such as antistatic coating protects the lens from static clinging of dust stain resistance with easy cleaning of water spots and fingerprints, making EXUS Circular Polarizer especially useful for shooting outdoors.
High Transmission Polarizer
Compared to a conventional polarizer, light transmission has increased by 30 Percent, which affords easier viewing from the finder as colours are more intense and brighter, and shadows appear darker with better gradation.
Adoption of a high transmission polarizer realizes finite and detailed photographic expressions.
Water and Oil Repellent Coating
The surface of the filter lens is specially coated to offer excellent water and oil repellent performance.
The surface repels water spots and provides resistance to fingerprints, and those few that appear on the surface can be easily removed.
Antistatic Coating
Stress free photography sessions are made possible by virtue of the antistatic coating that inhibits static clinging of microscopic dust.
Even if the lens gets soiled, dust can be easily removed using an air blower.
Ultra low Reflection: Less than 0.6 Percent
Because the entire outer rim of the lens is treated with black ink and features a special frame structure, the filter achieves ultra low reflection of less that 0.6 Percent.
With suppression of surface reflection the filter brings out the camera's lens performance to its maximum, achieving high quality photography.
Teflon coated Male Threads
The Filter frame adopts a Teflon coated male thread that not only reduce excessively tight screwing of the filter and lens while shooting but also make attaching / detaching smooth and easy.

中華製のC-PLフィルターが安かったので購入して利用したが効果が薄くて、画像処理ソフトで調整しなくてはいけなかった。後ほど買い換えた国産のこのフィルターは、カメラのモニターで確認する段階でも効果が目視出来て、とても満足のいく撮影が出来ました。やはりアクセサリーも価格相応ですね…、痛感しました。

C-PLでは、価格が安い商品ですが、写り・操作性ともに問題ありません。後継の商品が発売されているようですが、寿命があるフィルターなので価格の安いこの商品を選択しました。

It seems to attract rather than repel dust. Optically it seems fine. Yes, as another reviewer said, the filter does slop around in the supplied case. I expected better for the price.

This is a quality filter. I like that it turns very easily and it allows in one-third more light than the average polarizer, whether turned to minimum or maximum. Slight downside - Marumi makes its filter rings from aluminum, rather than brass, but it's still the best choice for circular polarizers. I have Marumi circular polarizers on all my lenses.

I have to say this is the worst filter I ever bought. The polarization and color are fine, but it scratches at the blink of an eye. After a year of occasional and gentle use, the surface is pitted and scratched, making the filter useless. My B&W and Heliopan filters that I've had for years and have put through the wars still look brand new. Spend a little extra and get a higher quality filter. This one is worthless.

Canon G1X mark3 用に買いました。DHGスーパーサーキュラーPLD からの買い替えです。●DHGスーパーサーキュラーPLD との比較・軽量： 37mm DHG の外径 Φ39.6mm, 9.6g に対して、外径Φ39.2mm, 7.4gとより一層小型軽量になっています。・明るい： 同じ条件でフィルタ無し 1/40s のところが DHG 1/15s に対して EXUS 1/25s で撮れます。 夜明けや夕暮れ頃にはこの違いは大きいです。・色味がない： DHG も色味が少ないと思っていましたが、EXUS は明るい無彩色の灰色です。・反射が少ない: DHGは青緑色の反射が少しありますが、DHGの反射は少なく色味もあまりありません。・EXUSの方が汚れや埃がより一層残りにくい気がします。●感想レンズキャップもつけられますが、リムの反射も無く、厚み6.6mmの薄さのおかげでケラレもでません。フードも干渉せずつけられて、フードをつけたままでも偏光角の調整に不自由ありません。さすが Made in Japan で加工精度も良く、取り付けも緩まずきつすぎずぴったりです。偏光角の調整箇所のロレットは45°山型に入ってるので、フィルタの取り付け箇所のロレットと干渉せず、指先で回しやすいため、フィルタをうっかり締め過ぎたり緩んだりしにくくなっています。それと、他社製品に比べて感動的だったのが、撥水性能で、見た目110°以上ありそうな水との接触角です。水しぶきくらいなら、簡単に吹き飛ばせるし、うっかりついた皮脂なんかの汚れも簡単に落とせます。マルチコートも良くてムラもなく損失も少なく、変な色味も全く感じません。よほど暗いところでなければプロテクタ代わりに付けっぱなしにしているくらいで、性能も使い勝手も良くて、凄く気に入っています。DHGから買い替えて正解でした。画像は、・フィルタの撥水性：Canon X1 G mark3 に Marumi EXUS サ―キュラーPLを取り付けて水滴を載せたところ・フィルタの明るさと色味比較：左が EXUS, 右が DHG・フィルタの反射と色味比較：左が EXUS, 右が DHG

This works much better than the cheaper one that fell off my camera somewhere and got lost. No blotchy skies and it cuts the light getting to the camera much less than my other, cheaper one. Much better pictures!

I have been using EXUS filters for all my lenses and am very satisfied. They really do seem to repel dust, water, and smudges. Yes, they are expensive, but I am willing to bite the bullet for this level of quality in a filter.

It's very thin and really does allow more light by approximately 1 stop compared to Hoya Pro1 (see photos). It's also about 1mm thinner than the Hoya. When stacked with a Tiffen variable ND vignetting occurs only when wide open at 24mm. Color retention appears to be fine.I do not see any drastic advantage with the much touted 'teflon' coating of the teeth. As with any filters the tricky part is still properly aligning the teeth with the grooves of the lens. Once aligned any filter, feflon coated or not, will screw in and out easily. The included case does not hold this filter securely, causing it to jiggle freely. (It does perfectly fit the slightly thicker Hoya).It is a great CPL filter but for comparable quality the Hoya Pro1 at $63 (still available) is a better buy.
