Some hack mechanic ruined the engine cover retaining threads on my car, which then rattled. This kit has the drill, tap, installation tool and (6) inserts you need to fix a situation like this and many others. Excellent quality. Highly recommended

These are trash. Because they're not a solid insert they don't align with the threads easily and you have to fix them with a pick. Worst part is if you try to back them out the pin breaks off and you gotta use a pick and pliars to get it out. Get the solid type.

Did a bunch of research before buying. This brand is high quality. Probably in the top 3 products available in this market. This kit was the most complete I could find. I had to order a T handle die driver tool for a square portion. I also ordered a thread gap gauge to verify I was buying the right coil kit. Tapped into an aluminum body clutch assembly on my dirt bike. Worked flawlessly. The instructions helped. Read them twice before starting.

It worked but not worth it. The drill bit snapped. In aluminum! Pay the difference and get the helicoil brand.

I guess it is OK to leave out essentials parts of this set for price reasons but it should clearly state what is required on the box.

My boats trim pump wouldn’t come off due to corrosion. I had to drill the bolt out of the manifold and damaged the threads. The EZ-Loc went in quick and held nice and tight with out any leaks under high pressure.

Works smooth and great not only metal but also wood materials.I ended drill controller making job perfectly with this coil set & .repaired stripped thread of motorcycle parts.Admittedly, i don't know the mechanical strength(which is the main concern about this type of product) is better or not compare to 'Helicoil' ones.But that does no problem at least for me.Quite satisfactory enough.

Great set! Works exactly as advertised. I was able to rethread my entire aluminum engine block for valve cover bolts in about an hour. Be aware that in order to use the rethreading bit, you will need to purchase a T handle as well.
