Anyone who says it doesn’t - you need to break it loose first. I used a regular torx socket, with a wrench that fit on the hex key part.. then use a pipe on that. Get it broken loose a little, remove all of those tools, and use this to fully remove. The install is really not bad, much easier than removal.

This exactly what I needed. These are actually very well made. The T60 handles 85 ft-lbs torque very well. Would recommend these to anyone.

Used it on my 1998 jeep XJ cherokee.1. The engine must be at operating temp because the oil filter adapter bolt is attached with lock tight. Once you break it free you will need to let the engine cool to finish the job.2. You need a 17mm or 11/16 offset wrench. Using a regular wrench will give you the improper angle with the potential to strip the bolt.3. You will need some sort of cheater bar. I had a rebar bender laying around and that worked.4. Come from on top front of the car. Push away from you. That would be pushing towards the dash board.5. Once its broken then you can come from the bottom and finish the job. .Cheers and best of luck.

Perfect for being able to get into tight spaces that a T handle or L shaped torx can't reach. Seem like very solid construction, was able to put quite a bit of torque on a box end rench to get a larger bolt to break loose. Would definitely recommend.

Great for getting to a Audi B7 idler pulley, got to it no problem and it worked great, well worth the price and quality product!

i LOVE how snug these fit in a socket or box end wrench. extremely handy for working on audi V10s in frame. couple with a flex head ratchet box wrench, add a set of ball end torx bits and almsot any bolt becomes easy.only gripe-the case sucks, if its open and you nudge it the bits all go everywhere. Will be putting these on a magrail

I originally purchased this set for the flat T60 so I could remove the oil filter adapter on my '99 Jeep Cherokee XJ. It does not work for that unfortunately. The T60 bit is not long/deep enough to go all the way into the torx hole on the adapter so as to get a good bite. I ended up getting T60 socket instead, punching out the shank from the socket, and using that with a crowsfoot and a breaker bar. That worked very well. That said, this is a very well made kit and I am keeping it around. You can put these into a ratcheting box wrench and they snap in perfectly and firmly, creating a pretty cool torx bit wrench. I plan to buy a hex set of these just for that reason. Good kit. It just didn't work for my project due to the short shank on the T60.
