Product is as described. I purchased this roll to help with the heat coming through the windows in my RV. Wow!!! Really made difference. Just wish I had bought an extra 8 feet to do my pickup windshield. I would have given a 5 Star rating but there are a couple things I thing the manufacturer or shipper could do better. #1- when they cut the roll the edge is far from being square, making the initial cut more difficult than it needed to be. #2-The order was supposed to include a roll of tape that was never received. There was printed note inside the box from the owner that said if anything was wrong with my order to contact him. That he would make it right. Well I lost that paper so haven’t been able to contact him.

Good quality and effective at providing both insulation and sound-deadening value. I tore the carpet out of the cab of my RV, installed the Ez-Cool insulation with spray-on contact cement, then covered that with new carpet. Very significant difference with reduced sound in the cab now, and it's definitely better insulated for warmth now in the cold winter climate I live in. I'd buy the insulation again, but admit I didn't bother using the foil tape that came with it.

I bought this item to use in two locations of my 65 Pontiac GTO, under the headliner and under the carpet. It worked great under the headliner because it is very lite and was easy to work with. Just get some good spray on glue and it sticks where you want it. Because of its lightweight you don't have to hold it in place waiting for the glue to dry. I do have concerns using it under the carpet. The questions and answers say it will not pop like bubble wrap, this is not true. Even though this isn't true bubble wrap like we all know, it does pop with just a little pressure between your finger and thumb. So I am going to go ahead and use it under my carpet but I am also going to use the stock jute backing that comes already attached to the carpet and I hope it is enough to keep the wrap from popping. Other than that it seems to be a really good product, I am just a little upset that they said it would not pop and it does. I would have given it 5 stars if they were more honest that it would pop.

I have used this in my 65 mustang to insulate the interior of the car from the rear seat up to the firewall. It made a HUGE difference in the sound coming in from the exhaust. I recently bought some more to also do the trunk and the door panels. This stuff is easy to install just make sure to use the recommended 3M General Trim Adhesive Spray #08088. I have tried other cheap adhesives from Lowes like a Loc Tite one but none held as well as the 3M.
