If you do oil changes at home this product will not only save you time but make the oil change cleaner and quicker. No leakage so far and we have changed the oil 3 times already. Amazing product and you won't have a mess with the oil pan.

Installed on a 2024 Toyota Tundra. The SX model worked great since I was able to angle the valve. Instructions are on the backside of the packaging. I installed without a crush washer as the valve has an O-ring. DO Not Overtighten! Took a couple of minutes to install and no leaks. I also purchased the drain tube kit for easy oil changes in the future. Quality built and looks like it will last.

On my 2007 tacoma this survived nearly 100,000 miles of **everything** i could throw at it: from grocery runs 40 miles into town to weekend roadtrip up the Dalton Highway to Prudhoe Bay and the arctic circle, from exploring old gold and logging trails in the Talkeetna mountain range to nearly 10,000 mile roadtrips to the lower states and back, from river crossings in knee-deep glacial silt to trying to get unstuck from an unseen snowcovered berm, from hundreds of daily cold starts at -50°f to parked on a hot slab of Nevada pavement in the middle of summer for several days. Never a single problem, concern, or doubt.I've reinstalled on 2013 tacoma about a year ago now, just did another oil change the other day and still am blown away at how well this has held up and functions. Even the little plastic clip is still perfectly intact.Pros: oil changes are now faster, easier, cleaner, and require less tools - feels less like a chore in every single way now. Very well built, can clearly survive a helluvalot! Simple install (just watch the torque!)Cons: legitimately cannot think of any. When i first bought this i figured it'd be gimmicky, survive a season or 2 at best, and i just knew that little plastic clip wouldn't last a week. Boy, was i wrong!

It didn't come with any directions. Only tip was that the valve can be difficult to open the first time. Which is an understatement. I knew looking at it, how it was designed to open, but it wouldn't budge and I was worried forcing it might break my purchase. Eventually using a small flathead to leverage the lever up to make sure I was clearing the lock, I forced the valve open. As described in the tip, it seemed to work easy enough after that. If anything, that's an indication that's this puppy won't open on its own. Install was easy. It had its own o ring that mounts against the pan, wasn't sure if I was meant to use the usually crush washer or not. I went ahead and used one of my new crush washers. Have had it on for about a month. No signs of any oil loss at the valve. Now I can change my oil without removing my skid plate. Sick.

Had this installed for several months now with no leaks. Easy to install and torque on. Perfect fit on 2012 Nissan Frontier v6, not sure if oil pan is different for 4 cylinder. Far quicker oil changes now without having to worry about replacing the drain plug gasket or making sure the drain plug is tight enough. it sticks out a little further than the drain plug but haven’t had any problems with going over any sort of road debris yet on stock suspension.

Great quality, easy installation and works perfectly. Had one of these on a previous vehicle and loved it so purchased this for a Nissan Titan. Oil changes were already nice an easy on the Titan but now even more so.

I have had one of these valves on a truck for 12 years and have done a lot of off road bush wacking with that truck.Never a failure or flaw. Those that think you could have it open by accident and lose the oil have never held one of these valves in hand before. Over built and reliable.Bought a new Tacoma and it was one of the first things I installed . Far better than having the oil change kids over torquing or cross threading the oil pan plug.

I bought the 103SX for a 2002 Toyota Corolla. And it will make oil changes quick and non-dirty now. but because the way the pan is on the car the valve sits a bit below the frame of the car, the plus is the valve is almost lined up with the wheels so there is little possibility the valve can hit a speed bump. I will probably buy an extension before the next oil change to be able to lift the valves direction a bit. been driving it for over 200 miles since the oil change and leaking I torqued it was a little difficult to torque it but I did a three pass on it at 5lb intervals till i got to 15lb-ft and it should be good enough.

So, I've been eyeing Fumoto valves for many years now. I decided against one on my previous vehicle because of low ground clearance and an increased risk of it striking something and shearing off. Fast forward to present day, I have a shiny new vehicle with ample ground clearance and a renewed interest in a simple, mess-free oil change courtesy of this "wonder valve." Well, today I hit my first 5,000 miles and it was time to change my oil on my new baby, but this time would be different from all those that would follow because it would be the last time I change my oil without a fancy gizmo. Well, as it turns out, I will never know what that is like because my shiny new valve sheared off under minimal torque whilst trying to time it to my desired direction of the spout (which is an inherent feature with this new design). Luckily, the sheared off brass bolt was able to be removed from my drain pan by simply unscrewing it with my fingers. No damage was done to my new baby, and frankly I'm glad I found out how weak these valves (or more accurately, their attachment points) are in a controlled environment where my new engine couldn't seize due to having no oil. Now before you point the finger of blame and say I was using too much torque, I would like to point out I used a quality torque wrench set to the manufacturer suggested torque. I will admit that I tightened it and loosened it a half dozen or so times to get my desired alignment of the valve body, but surely the manufacturer doesn't expect this to not be a common practice for any customer who first recieves this style of multi-directional/adjustable position valve. Upon closer inspection, I think that the material (brass) coupled with the 4 holes drilled into the main bolt to allow it to drain faster didn't leave enough meat on the bolt to be strong enough for the task at hand. As for the valve itself, obviously I will never know how it performed. I look at the relatively small price I paid for this item as money spent to learn a valuable lesson about this item without ruining an engine. Am I upset the money was wasted? Sure. Could I have gotten a lemon? Sure I could have, but this experience proved to me beyond any reasonable doubt that I won't be wondering about these ever again. Sorry for the long winded post, but if it saves someone the small cost of ownership or the exorbitant cost of a new engine, then it is totally worth my time. Great idea, poor execution. 1 star for lesson learned.
