Arrived quickly. Didn't come in an ESD (or plastic) bag, so I wondered if it might have been someone else's return. Installed it without issue. Just be sure to disconnect the cable from the battery side only and don't pull on the cable to disconnect it from the old battery. I used a very small flathead screwdriver to leverage both sides of the cable connector on the furthest edges (I was concerned about the possibility of "zapping" myself if I didn't, but I don't know if that could actually happen or not). So far (first day of use) my 7480 lasted 8:45 on the most power saving mode and 4:45 on the highest performance power mode. I'll update if that changes in an unreasonable amount of time (these are wear items/consumables after all)

UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and offered to replace the battery. I received the new battery and it has been working well ever since.Battery swollen within six months causing bottom of laptop to bulge and eventually separating the bottom of the laptop

These battery sellers go out of way to warn you that you can not replace your 3-cell laptop with such 4-cell battery. Nope, you CAN! My Latitude 7480 was configured with only 3-cell battery. I can see there are empty space there, that appears to fit a 4-cell battery. After all, when configuring laptop on Dell website, you can choose either 3-cell or 4-cell battery for the same laptop model anyway. So I just purchased this 4-cell battery - and it fits perfectly.For 7480, the only tiny issue is, the small hole on this battery close to the center of the laptop is a tad bit small, so that that screw on the laptop at that location won't fit. But that should be the same problem for either 3-cell or 4-cell model. And you can just use a tape to seal that screw flat and forget it.

Fit fine in my Dell 7490. There are good instruction videos on You-Tube. Fairly easy to install. Just be careful (gentle) with the connections. I let it drain to 5% then did a full install and it is giving a nice long charge. There are others that are cheaper but this one at least comes with a warranty which I think is worth a bit more for the piece of mind.
