First, realize this is not a temporary fabric glue that you would use to work with embroidery backing. This is a permanent fabric glue that really works as expected. A little bit goes a long way. This will dry clear. We have used this to mend some torn leather upholstery and using the included little spatula made the job easier. Our next task will be to adhere some decorative patches on a work shirt. The plan is to use enough to keep the patch in place and then machine sew the patch on. We tested this method on one patch and so far so good. The glue did not show on the backside of the material. There are clear instructions for use included. There is the expected "glue" odor when using, but this is not overwhelming and the odor dissipates quickly. Pricing is fair, shipping was fast.

Note: Recommended 48-hour period to dry completely. Worked great! I had loose pieces of leather that unraveled on the shoulder straps of an expensive bag. It would've cost much more to take it to be secured properly. The glue worked like a charm!

The applicator tip is convenient for applying. Put a generous but thin layer on my fabric piece and hold it in place with some pressure for at least 24 hours before moving it. They feel secure thus far. It would be better if some extra thin applicators were supplied. After some moderate use, the patch hasn't come off, so would definitely recommend this glue.

I have a leather briefcase-portfolio I love but on the handle, one of the leather loops holding the handle on had come loose. I tried a different glue a year ago, which held for a bit until it didn't. I was going to get some leather repair thread and needles, but saw this and decided to give glueing another shot, since it is easier, especially for something like this-I read the directions carefully and followed them and it seems to have made a good bond- I can only wait and see how long it maintains. The instructions are all on the box and tube only, It is to be stored under 28°C/82℉ and used when temperatures are 18°C/64℉ to 32°C/90℉, so that is no problem. The tube says the product is waterproof and flexible, so that works well for the things I want to use it on.The little metal needle-like tip worked great to get the glue into the tiny area. they supplied a small plastic spatula-like spreding device, but in this instance I only used it the hold the parts of the portfolio out of the way. I did let a little glueget on it, and it wipes clean easily. The instructions say apply glue, wait 1-2 minutes then align parts and press together--I could not find anyplace that said for how long which bothered me a little. It does say maximum bond is achieved by 48 hours. Other than that missing bit of info, the manufacturer gives more detail than many do. I was careful to wipe the metal point on the tube before putting the cap back on after using the glue and I have opened and closed the tube a few times since I used it to check, and the cap removes just as easily as it did when new.The box says the product has a shelf life of 2 years, and both manufacture date and expiration date are printed clearly on the end of the box- I was a bit disappointed that by the time i got mine, 5 months of theat time was alrady gone, so I count that as a bit of a negative point.I have some other things I want to try this glue on, but so far, I am pleased with the ease and neatness of use and apparent results. I will be using the portfolio more a fair bit in the next couple of weeks, so that should test the bond, although I do not load it down too heavily most of the time- if it suddenly give up the bond, I will try to come back and modify this review.

My husband, who's profession is custom upholstery for street rods and the restoration of autos, can sew beautifully, had a suggestion for me. I like to add embroidered colorful whimsical patches to my little granddaughters plain sweatshirts, sweaters, and tee shirts. I pin them on as to where I want them permanently placed. Then he will sew them on for me, although I can sew myself. But he is really fast! His idea is to put a few really small dots of fabric glue to hold the patches in place, thus eliminating the use for straight pins. I let the gel glue take hold, dry, then they get sewn in permanently. This fabric glue has done just fine for my bonding needs. It dries clear, which is what I want. This tube contains 2.02 ounces and a nozzle for easy application, including is a small paddle like applicator. I can see using this for multiple purposes. For me, this is a thumbs up item. I will repurchase this fabric glue again, when it's needed! With a smile, I will recommend this it to others, so they may work smarter instead of harder! 👍👍

This glue worked well for my fabric application. I really like the design of the nozzle with the metal tube and pin to preserve the glue when not in use. Genius design. Wish all glue applicators were designed like this. the plastic spatula was ok, a wooden stick would have worked just as well.

My wife wanted this fabric super glue for some of her craft projects. The glue comes in a squeezable tube with a tiny paddle. She has used this glue on several of her crocheted projects and it has worked wonderfully. It does have a "glue" smell, but it's not overwhelming. She also said that she did not have problems removing this product from her skin. She used this glue on the soles of her shoes, even though it does not state that this product is designed for shoes, and the glue is holding up nicely. She highly recommends.

Okay fabric glue. It's quite smelly....like chemicals smelly, at first. There's no smell once it's dried but it's kind of overwhelming. It bonds well to fabrics. Sometimes I need to patch before I embroider or sew over something, the glue eliminates the need for pins for me. It's easy to apply, even and clean and thin. Currently it's on sale for about $8. That seems accurate to the product.
