I looked at the old camera to understand how to fold the ribbon cable of the new one. You should test it before screwing everything back together. The camera works fine.

UPDATE: I am changing my rating on this cable as it’s the second one I’ve purchased and, once again l, the front-facing camera has died.This cable looks great. The photos from it are good front and rear. The nice thing about this cable is it's already folded in the proper way for you so you don't have to guess how to fold it so it sits properly in the iPhone. Great cable!
