This was my favorite purchase for my London trip. I unfortunately got the London rain my whole trip and this was great to throw on with my waterproof jacket. Hoods on my jackets constantly fly off, so this was a great addition to ensure coverage.The fabric is comfortable, easy to put on and offers neck warmth as makeshift scarf. I'm just glad I can now make any jacket into a hooded one without compromising my outfit.

Chicago winters are brutal the winds alone can be devastating. This item is made from high quality materials. It’s a great look and fits comfortably also covers the neck to keep the wind away.the material is thick can be worn with jacket, coat, sweater.. a wonderful piece to have.

I had a balaclava couple years ago but I didn’t like the quality at all. Since I found this one on Amazon I was planing to order. I have been wearing it since I got it. It is soft but thick, holds the shape, protects skin from cold wind. I wore it at very cold temperatures(-8 C) and it was totally fine. Maybe not the warmest during that much cold weather but still kept me warm. Well made! I wish I knew the percentage of the materials but it feels like wool.

I'm impressed at how soft the material is, while still being warm. Stays on well, but does not obscure entire face.This item is very well made. Holds up to machine washing on cold & delicate cycle, with hanging to dry. No pilling.Highly Recommend.

This is a Review of "black". The knit is not too rough, but not too soft either. The face hole is just the right size for my small to medium head. I wish the neck portion either got wider to accommodate the shoulders or was not so long. It folds up and creates an excess of material around the neck. It is quite warm on it's own. Also since it's thin, a large hood will fit over it for even more warmth.
