Your cart is empty.The pedal switches are mounted on the pedal inside the car, through a connection that can be threaded or through coupling. By operating the brake pedal (or clutch pedal), the electrical circuit in which they are inserted is opened/closed. Some switches, referred to as hydraulic pedal switches, are driven by liquids as they’re mounted in the hydraulic circuits.

I have not installed the switch yet. Going to use it as a spare and keep it in the vehicle. This is the second one I have purchased in the past few years and believe it's starting to go bad. The old switch sometimes takes a spell and will not start the car. Just in case one day it does not start the vehicle I will have a spare to install.........

Pretty hard to get to and turn it to get it off only to find out harder to put the new one on,had to push real hard an turn to hold in place.
