The easel legs are connected with what appears to be magnets on the tip of legs. It does not have a horizontal lip which to place your bulletin board or piece of art; instead too tiny black pegs on the legs. Very unsteady. C H E A P. If it isn't obvious, I do not recommend. I ordered a white easle and was sent a black one.

I got for a reception and I wanted to use it with circle welcome signs that I got from Hobby Lobby but these do not hold them at all. I wish the little holders arms had a locking mechanism so it wouldn't move when I put the signs on there.

This easel was so easy to set up and take down. It worked perfectly holding up a full sized poster frame.

I used this to hold my welcome sign for my baby shower. It was sturdy didn’t have any issue. It is also not heavy and don’t take up much space when you fold it so it is easy to store for future events. It also has a good price. I am satisfied with my purchase.
