Too large as size indicates, oversized in my opinion. There were head band size reducers included,but hat looks awkward due to large size.

Excellent hat, great quality. Runs large, for sure. I normally wear an XL hat, and had to put both sets of included sizes in it to keep it from falling into my eyes. Order a size down and you'll love it!

My husband likes the hat but it is poorly stitched in the back and comes to a point instead of flat. It doesn’t bother him enough to return it but…

Many if most things are adaptable to buying online, but with hats it seems, at least to me, like a crapshoot.XL in hats often fits me, but many times L fits me better. And then there's the added variable if I've recently had a haircut. I've tried some hats that have an adjustment "band" inside, but I think that "solution" needs some more refinement since the hat rests on the headband rather than on your head. It simply doesn't fit properly. So, I tend to stick with L size and if it's too small I'll return it. And of course, in this review I'm referring only to fixed size hats, dress hats and the like, not anything like stocking type caps. Hope that's obvious.
