We are installing these in a bathroom that has a golden yellow paint and thought these would make go well with it. The color wasn’t really a champagne bronze like others have mentioned (it was not quite as gold colored as the seller’s photos but tended more towards bronze), but there were no other fixtures in the bathroom with that type of finish so there was no problem with it not matching. The diameter of the bar is good for gripping (I where a large size glove) and it’s knurled as well so it still is grippy when wet. These bars could potentially have to bear a lot of weight, so I was especially concerned about how they mounted. The three screw mounting design is good, but I was hoping for heftier screws. The wall anchors that were provided were just okay but I have much better ones, so I used those instead. Heads up if you have a tiled wall – you can’t just grab a drill bit and start drilling. You’ll need a diamond drill bit and go slow so you don’t crack the tile. Also, what I always worry about with metal fixtures in showers is rust. I’ve had bad experiences with supposedly “rust free” curtain rods. Only time will tell how these grab bars fare, but they look really good installed and they are certainly functional.

These are actually dark orange tinted brass. They are not the light soft color of champagne brass and Ive showed them next to a door knob that is change brass in the last photo. I doubt I'll install these due to the color difference. We may use them in our toilet room since it can't be seen from the rest of the bathroom.

These grab bars are really well made and should hold plenty of weight (pulling) to help get in or out of where you want to be. The bars I ordered are the brushed gold and are really a beautiful color. Not the bright, gawdy gold from the 70s interiors, but a much gentler color that would go well with any decor. If you can find a nice sturdy place to install them, there shouldn't be any issues with them holding up to a great deal of weight. They are really sturdy and just the right length. They came well packaged so there was no chance of damage during shipping. If you are looking for a sturdy pair of grab bars, these are for you.

First, I always get silver but today I was super impressed by this bronze color and they look and feel great. Some tips would be to first slide the covers over the bar and make sure the flat sides facing each other, next put the ends on and make sure they are tight - use a proper large enough screwdriver. Basically your ready to find a place and mount these now ! super easy ! As for mounting please try and find useable studs as with any mounting project and make sure , once again, everything's tight ! The texture on these make a great grip, the build quality is spot on, and best of all... you get two for the price !

I love the champagne bronze finish on these grab bars; it's an updated gold color, without the bright brass look so they won't show fingerprints. They match the finish on my faucets. The textured design in the middle makes for a better grip, which is better for the elderly. I also like the way the bars are secured to the wall; there's no tiny little screw at the bottom that will eventually work it's way loose and have the bars fall off. These seem much more secure, although if putting them over tile, you'll probably want longer screws. The metal is a bit lighter wight than some bars I looked at, and they are also a bit pricier than some, which is why I took a star off.

Champagne bronze is a beautiful color. I wasn't sure what to expect but it's not too gold and not to brown. All my other grab bars are silver or chrome, I guess, and I thought I needed more so I ordered these. I like the knurled grip for inside the shower so wet hands won't slide down a smooth bar. I also like the way the screws are hidden by the covers. These look great in my shower even though they are a different color. I had them professionally installed to make sure they would hold up if someone had to pull on them with all their weight. These are solid and strong and will do the job of giving someone a secure handhold if needed.

Excellent quality product. Easy to fit.The only criticism is that the plastic wall plugs that were supplied to use to accommodate the screws were of inferior quality. Each one broke when fitting. We used our own plastic wall plugs

These stainless steel grab bars come as a set of 2 in a brushed champagne bronze finish. The color blends well with other finishes & most decor without having a brassy look, in fact it gives a very soft, warm appearance. The outside dimension of each grab bar is 16" long with a 1-1/4" diameter. Each end of the bar has a 1/4" hole in the center. The center of each bar has an etched diamond pattern all around the bar, 7" in length beginning approximately 3" from the inside, which enhances your ability to grip & hold on the bar without slipping. The inside measures 13-1/8" between the ends of the bars with 2" of space between the bottom of the bar & the wall, which provides plenty of space for even very large hands to grab the bar with ease. Installation hardware is included which consists of 6 clear wall anchors 1-1/8" L; 6 flat phillips head screws 1-1/8" L & 2 phillips head 1/4" bolts 5/8" L for each bar. It is attached to the wall using the included 2-3/16" stainless steel discs. Each disc has 3 holes 3/16" in diameter located 1/8" from the edge & 1-1/4" between each hole. There is also a 1/4" hole in the center of each disc. Also included are 2 champagne bronze rings 2-1/4" in diameter x 7/16" D that cover the discs. The rings are placed on the bar first & then the discs are attached to the ends of the bar using the 5/8" L bolts. The wall anchors are inserted in the wall behind all 3 holes with the screws inserted through the holes & screwed into the wall anchors. Once in place the rings are then firmly pushed onto the discs so that all you see is the beautiful champagne bronze finish. While these bars are designed to be grab bars for your shower or elsewhere in your bathroom, they could also be used in other areas in your home. I ordered these grab bars to use in our remodeled master bath. The champagne bronze finish blends well with antique brass hardware as well as the dark bronze finishes. It provides a much warmer & softer appearance giving a more homey feeling.
