About this Product:
The Fantasia brand of Madagscar rough stones you are ordering are 100% natural and imported by the ton directly from Madagascar to Fantasia Mining's USA rock yard. Your order will contain multiple pieces of this spectacular material of varying natural sizes, shapes, colors, types and patterns which is equal to or greater than the weight purchased.
* The average stone size is between 1.5 inches and 2 inches
* The average number of pieces per 3 pound bag ordered is 45-66 pieces
* The average weight of each stone is just under 1 oz
As natural earth mined stones the above sizing, weight, and piece count will not be exactly the same in every bag. On rare occasions it is possible to get some stones that are larger or smaller than 1.5" to 2" which could cause the individual stone weight and piece count to be outside the stated range above.

This material is mixed in bulk so it is like a treasure hunt to see what you will find in every bag you get!
These Fantasia rough stones are perfect for tumbling, polishing, cabbing, cutting, wire wrapping, arts and crafts, fountains and water features, gem mining activities, education, keeping in their natural forms as specimens and so much more which is limited only by your imagination.
**IMPORTANT: Please note that the stones you receive are naturally earth mined products of nature. When you receive them they may contain a small layer of dust which could coat the stones or the inside of the bag, so you will want to rinse the stones to see their true potential. The pictures were taken with the stones being wet which helps to show the materials true colors and clarity. It may not have the same appearance when dry unless it has been polished, tumbled, or cabbed. Due to differences in how monitors display brightness, hue, vibrance and color saturation, the colors you see on your screen may vary from the colors of the stones received.

This was the best batch of quality stones I have received. I WILL be ordering more! I received 6 Kambaba Jaspers, lots of apatite, amethst, quartz,, fluorite, Septarian Jasper, Feldspar, Labradorite, Chrysocolla, Red Jasper, petrified wood and more. Hardly any breakage and bits and pieces. Very, very satisfied. I would recommend this item to all Rock Hounds!

Disliked the packaging since it was to be a gift. Plastic bag of stones was ripped open and was placed into another resealable bag. Looked like product was purchased and returned after it had been opened. Nice stones but the presentation was unacceptable.

Many repeat stones. Decent quality, less rocks than expected but I’m sure it was the weight it said. I have found cheaper deals at a quarry for $1.50/lb but this was convenient. The rocks really did look completely different once I ran them under water a few times, very dusty so I know they were genuine.

I purchased two different sets of these Madagascar 3lb rough mix and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised! The overall quality of the stones was great and I did receive a varied mix (a few duplicates here and there but that's normal). The nice part about it was that they aren't too different then the advertised picture which tells me that they are serious about what they do (also, received a couple emails as a follow up on my satisfaction from them which is impressed me as well). I will certainly repeat business with them- these were for me to try tumbling with my son and students and we are on stage 1 so far but excited for the end product. I recently purchased a polished 25 stone set from Digging Dolls (in case I mess this up I have plan B) but the stones looked like they were the rejects of a larger batch (pitted, not very shiny, some cracked, one wasn't even polished, etc...). I'm relieved that Fantasia proves that their stones are of quality. I want to say a big "Thank You" to the "Rockhounds" for their integrity in what they do.

Some pieces are gorgeous while others do not stand out as much. Definitely worth the money and excellent specimens for fountain use.
