I work in this field and security is always a concern. These faraday bags are great quality and are also the right size for todays modern key fobs.Though many car manufacturers are taking security more into account, there are still vulnerabilities. One of those is replay attacks. If an attacker is in close proximity to the car and the key fob, they could capture the comms between the two with a small hand held device.These bags provide a great shield against these types of attacks.I tested the bag by putting the key fob inside and sealing it, then pressing the fobs buttons through the bag. Even when I was close to the vehicle, it never opened or started. That means the signals were blocked or at least attenuated enough to prevent communications. Success!
