It is very weak and so the cork does not come out of the bottle without considerable effort.

No. Very cheap and it was tied with strings to the cardboard. Maybe someone returned. I meant to send back to Amazon but didn't get string to it within 45 days. I bought a much nicer ones locally for the v same amount.
