Your cart is empty.Fuel Level gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauges' meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. The resistance of the sending units increase or decrease with the changes in pressure, temperature, etc. . As the sender's resistance varies, the amount of current allowed to flow through it to ground changes and the meter deflects, showing the level of fuel.

This gauge looks good and works, but it works in reverse. When my fuel tank is full, it says empty and when it’s empty, it says full.

Buyer beware . Its a good quality gauge but not intended for North American use. It's 10 to 180. North American marine industry standard is 240 to 33 ohm like a Faria 13801

This is a metric unit and will not work with US awning units. The ohms resistance is incorrect. Don’t waste hours and hours like I did. The description is wrong!!!!!!
